Alert | LOL.. they fly right at you.. it's hard to miss them.. lucky I have a low aero-dynamic car... they fly right over when they get too close.
| | Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem. ______________________________________ *************************************** San Diego Super Chargers! GO!!! Joined old forum March 2006 Post count: 3068 + these | |

Alert | | I had a pigeon hit my winshield as I was head toward the 60 on the Broadway curve last Thursday... it may hav ebeen clippe dby the car ahed of me, and as it corrected its flight flew straight into my windshield just above the wipers on the Driver's side.... the thud as so loud it made me scream... the bird literally burst into a ball of feathers... and it left a wettish dirty smudge on my windshield... ugh!!!!!!! | | I am channeling my "inner cougar".....

Alert | | It's crazy. Wonder what they were thinking? Maybe they got bored and for entertainment they wanted to play chicken? I've hit one that was flying across the freeway and it dipped down and ended up a part of my front bumper. | | Senior Member Posts: 204 Joined: Apr 2007

Maybe they should learn to read the drama on 85239. It's the only reason I get up in the morning!

Alert | | My friend and I were driving on the 347 and she was having a not so great day and all of a sudden we looked in front of us and a bird flew right in front of her, sat in the road and just stared as she drove right into it. I think it had a suicide mission!! | | Senior Member Posts: 3899 Joined: Jan 2006

Alert | | They are probably young ones...right out of the nest. No brains, yet. I had one try to fly right in my front door. I 'caught' it...knocked it to the ground. When it got its bearings, it flew right back where it came from. Strange. | | Nancy

Alert | I have only hit one bird and it was the morning of 9-11 so I will never forget it. It hit my windshield so hard it cracked it. I was going 80mph north bound on the 101.
It was a crazy morning.
