Late last week, I went to Fletchers and got 4 new tires.. After driving on the new tires for a couple hours, handling was very "bouncy".. When i got home, I checked my tire pressure.. Tires ranged from 42 to 50 PSI.. My car calls for 35PSI, and the max of the tire is 44PSI.. I'm extremely lucky I didn't have a blowout, or accident..

THis and several other issues I had with that trip to Fletchers causes me never to go there again (length of time it took, damage to rims, etc..).. I've complained to their corporate website, but no response as of yet..

Please, if you go to Fletchers, please verify your tire pressure afterwards!

It truly amazes me how many people use the Maricopa Fletcher's... I guess when you're the only game in town, you can do whatever you want...

It'll be game over for Fletcher's when we get a REAL auto shop here..

I don't use them anymore..

The bad far out weighs the good..

JMO

Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem.

I got my oil changed there last week and asked them to rotate my tires, a $10 charge. Well after an hour, they finally started on it, changed the oil, I hope, sp I watched fully knowing they wouldnt rotate the tires and of course they didnt rotate the tires. So the kid hands me my keys and I gave them right back. He was pissed. Why can't they ever just rotate them when you ask? Why do you have to watch?

I always mark my tires differently in a conspicuous place before I get them rotated. That way you can tell if they were rotated properly or if they were rotated at all. Fletchers is the worst place you could possibly go. I highly recommend not using them for anything. I got my oil changed there not long ago because I was short for time and they only put about 3 Quarts of oil in my truck when it calls for 5-6. I'm glad I drained my oil and changed it myself three days later. Otherwise who knows what side of the road I would have ended up on. Oh, and never ask for synthetic oil because you won't get it. You'll pay the extra 40-50 dollars, but you'll get the cheap stuff I promise.

This Fletchers down here is horrible. They will tell you one thing, and then do something else!! I definately will never go there again. I gladly drive to town to get anything done.

Maricopa Fletcher's reminds me of those Dateline investigations.. I always picture some Fletcher employee coming out with a rag wrapped around an empty quart of oil saying he needed to "top it off" and charge $10...lol..

Here's perspective for you Fletcher's... It takes you so long to do MINOR maintenance (like change my oil)... I can drive into Ahwatukee, get an oil change, a car wash, fill up my tank and be back HERE before you even get my car in your bay...

yup.. Maricopa Fletcher's = teh suck..

You'll either change your ways or go belly up when someone else comes to the 'copa...

I'll bet a good amount of money that Fletcher's will change DRAMATICALLY (read: get quicker) when they get some competition.. any takers?

What's up with the shop (?) just south of the tracks on the west side of John Wayne. It looks like a hole in the wall . . . Any good? Do they do service even?

The Napa shop? Yeah, they do service. I've never been there so I don't know how they are. I'm sure their prices are as "competitive" as Fletchers.

I called them once asking about a tire rotation/balance and a tire puncute fix and they said it would be around 70 bucks and the wait was unknown seeing as how they were so busy.

I went to Discount and they did it for free in about 30mins.

If we contact Discount Tire's headquarters would that get the tire rolling for them to setup here?

why is it that places like this operate the way they do? I mean they know they're the only "game" in town so they know they can get away with doing a $hitty job?
I'll never go back, I had my oil change their ONCE this past winter and they didn't even top off the fluids. Not too long afterwards the driver info window indicated the coolant was low and there was no way I had a leak nor would I have gone through that munch in such a short time. And of course the wait time was riduculous as already stated from several other people as well.
I'll go out of my way to take my car somewhere else.

I hope the owner reads this thread.

i got my drivers window fixed. they ordered the wrong part, and had to keep it over night after promising it done that day...then they parked my truck in the shopping center parking lot the next day because they didnt have room for my truck. then there was a huge scratch on the drivers side....horrible service!

We could start a boycott!

It's like going to Six Flags, because you pretty much don't have much of a choice. It's either paying 4 dollars for a 20 0z soda or not...

Can we go out there with picket signs?

Just an update.. I have been in touch with Fletcher's management, and they have resolved my situation to my satisfaction... They do read their email.. So if you have complaints, the contact us page has their email (I used direct email, not their form).. http://www.fletcherstireandauto.net/
