Apparently, people feel free to drive faster than the speed limit, faster than is reasonable safe in a torn up lane where surface area to tire tread is limited, where rocks are being flung 3 and 4 cars back.

Please ADOT please block the lane being repaired.

Single thread the idiot drivers who live in Maricopa.

Wishing all who race in the right lane a broken windshield!

If all the lanes in one direction are torn up, I am confused! Why was not just a section torn up, repaved, then reopened. I saw a cop the other night in the right lane and he had to be going 80 or 85 trying to catch some fool. His car was bouncing all over the place. My husband and I really thought that we would be calling 911 to get him help!
I know the road is in huge need of repair, but who thought up this way to do it?

I thought from the meeting their machines would take off 2" of blacktop, mix it with new blacktop and lay it back down.

But like most road construction projects that went right out the window soon as their government contract started paying out. I think at this point there is nothing we can do about it but get angry and gnash our teeth in frustration.

Nevertheless....

The paint job on the front end of my car is going to cost me a pretty penny...

Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem.

Ditto!
I'll suffer the chips in my windshield to avoid the backups!
