Vinny, I am a little confused. Will you please define "locals"? How can you tell that it's the locals who are crossing the barricades? Is it because "trucks" went through the water? Do only locals drive trucks? Are all locals arrogant, ignorant and think they can get away with it?
I thought we were one community working together for the good of all. Can't we tear down this "we" and "they" mentality and use our energy and talents toward improving our roads, creating better schools, and in general... helping each other without all these barriers. yes your right, it must have been people from flagstaff driving all the way to maricopa to see a flooded wash off the main road in a development....

I think most road closed signs are for people like you that have no common sense and need to be told that they cant cross!!! I for one grew up in a mountain town and any time it rained i had to make a decision weather I could cross the river and head into town or not. People like you live such a sheltered life and I feel sorry for you. You are a sheep, you need to be told what to do how to do it and when...and that's OK but dont get mad when you see someone cross the line to go check out the wash and let there dog play in it. In fact i crossed the baricade this morning,and there was no water flowing!!!!! Guess you cant always trust signs anyhow be a happy sheep and quite your b!tching!!!

Man alive you just dont quit!!! The only reason I am responding is because you addressed me by "name" - Your right I'm a city girl I dont go thru' standing water-regardless if there is a sign or not- I don't see it as being a sheep, I see it as having common sense-call it what you want that's fine with me:
