Posted By flattysgirl on 07/16/2008 9:45 AM anyone else sick and tired of waiting at that light. i sat there for 10 minutes last night. i finally ran the red light hoping no police would see me. i use that traffic light all the time. during the day time you spend less than 1 minute waiting for the light to change. between the hours of 5pm-7pm you could sit there all night. so finally i called the city office this morning to see what is going on with that light. adot controlls it. 5 phone numbers later i finally got the right person. roger the superviser for southern az said he has gottten no complaints about this light. he said he is going to send a guy out tomorrow mornig, and when it is fixed i will get a call. very nice man. i also learned there is an emergency meeting with adot this morning. hopefully we will get this taken care of. roger said that if there is a problem with a traffic light you should call him and he can send a crew out to investigate/fix the problem. What's the contact info. for this guy with ADOT? Why can't they get the 2nd left turn lane done at JWP and Smith Enke? The lane is already there, all these fools need to do is paint it and adjust the signal. This is something that should of been done years ago. It should take them 1 day or less to do this too. I'm so sick of the traffic back up here. |
