Why isn't the telephone number for the Maricopa Police Department shown on the Maricopa Police Cars? Does the Maricopa Police Department indeed have a telephone number?
They'd rather you didn't call them.
If they put their number on the car there would be no space for the word proactive.
Various MPD phone numbers are listed in today's issue (13) of The Communicator. See page 6, article titled; "Taking Charge of Your Security".
Maybe they should paste a copy of THE COMMUNICATOR on the police cars (enlarged, if possiible, so that they are readable).
I don't see where wanting to know why the phone number for the MPD isn't shown on the police cars (and also not listed in the Maricopa Phone Book) is being anti MPD. Can someone just answer the question: Why isn't the MPD telephone number shown on the police cars and also listed in the Phone Book under Maricopa City Government?
Why should it be on the police car? If it's an emergency you can call 911. Otherwise check the cities website for their #.
