What is with the increase in traffic at the main cf entrance/exit this week?

I know that in the past, i've seen people drive straight across from red then do a uturn to make a left out of cf.  but this traffic is coming more the inner part of cf.

i know that there can't be a huge increase in cf residest making a mass exodus at this time of day, or that suddenly started working away from maricopa.

does it really save any time to turn into the south cf entrance, speed through cf and then leave from the north/main cf entrance/exit?

I couldn't even get out of the street i live on to leave cf this morning.  The road was blocked by commuters and they were not letting anyone in!

what is going on and what can be done?

Have the HOA buy the streets and gate the community.  Until then, stop bitching.  The residents of Senita FLY through the Villages all the time to get to Frys or Smith-Enhke.

Hey watch it! None of us Tortosans ever speed or cut through neighborhoods... We also don't park on our sidewalks or in our front yards. LOL

wasn't bitching per se, just curious as to the sudden increase and how things can be fixed so that those of us who were smart enough to buy in this neighborhood to avoid the traffic nightmare can leave our street to get to work too.

You can't do anything about it. It's much worse in VRED too. At least you don't have to share your amenities with non residents like VRED does.

They are who we thought they were!

I have always wondered what kind of trash live in RED, Tortosa or Senita.  I am not talking about all of them, just the ones that think its OK to use VRED pool or basketball and tennis courts.

What kind of message do you losers send to your kids when you do that?

When you say you were "smart enough" to buy in that neighborhood did you take into consideration that HUMONGOUS GAS LINE that runs through it!! lol!!!  You should see the congestion we see here in VRED especially poolside!

Unfortunately, we can't do much of anything. These are public roads. However, a police officer did tell me they were aware of quite a few situatiions here and would be more present in the community. I have seen more people pulled over here recently. If they have to drive through here, at least they have to drive more carefully.

....Still looking for eagles.
