Noticed they had the light up and going this morning. It will be interesting to see what this does to the traffic flow at this congested part of town.

What I think is dumb about this new intersection is that if you are going southbound on the 347 and trying to make a left onto Casa Grande Hwy, there is actually a RED ARROW while the through traffic still has a green, so even if there is no one coming northbound over the tracks, you still have to sit and wait until the light turns green! Very frustrating.

I thought I read somewhere that this is temporary until they divert traffic from the MCG highway onto Honeycutt and make that one intersection. It's part of the grand plan, and not meant to permanently cause traffic issues.
