I saw a pickup stopped on the bridge dropping a bale of alfalfa over the bridge going northbound. This was last summer. When I see the horses this summer I think I will do the same. There used to be a roundup every summer, and I think it was by the BLM. The horses were adopted out. We adopted a Mustang, and she was pregnant. Her foul turned out to be the best horse we ever owned. We had to put him down when he foundered (sp) at the age of 12. But, yes, the horses will be back. Sinbad is right on with the time frame. I just wish we had gotten another rainfall to boost the vegetation growth. |
