I know who I can't vote for , the problem is finding someone that I can vote for. Our Senator would be my man but for his stance on immigration.

Three elected presidents, and they have to have at least two of them agree on every issue............and no re-election of any of them............

JasonY - thanks for the web site - McCain got a 75%, the 2nd place was in the 50s. But his immigration stance is a deal killer for me. This may be the first election that I sit out or vote anti-someone.

Let's go to feudalism like you suggested. We will parcel out Maricopa to different people on this forum to be dukes. The higher your post count the bigger the parcel.

Guess I better start stalking the forums and make useless, senseless contributions to every conversation like many others do.

(I wasn't implying anything about You, JasonY)

ill vote for mitt. I do wish fred thompson was doing better. But as long as it's not McCain I'm happy.

lol... bleeding heart. That's cool, I'd agree with that assumption. If there is such a thing as a bleeding heart conservative. If it means that I believe that this world still has a chance. If it means I haven't given up hope that America's best days are ahead of us and not behind us than ya, that's me... the bleeding heart conservative

I do agree though... its Huckabee, Romney, or McCain.

noone else has much of a chance. Romney should win Nevada, I hope McCain loses South Carolina, but I think what matters is gonna be CA and FL. Whoever wins those states will probably take the nomination.

I think Florida will be huge as that will set the tone for Super Tuesday. California while it is nice to have is not too important as their are other states that could easily counter balance the electoral power of that vote on the same day.

yeah but I think voting is really gonna go by region of the country. I think alot of the south is going to huckabee, much of the west to romney, and the northeast will be very split

McCain and Thompson on the same ticket would be like watching the movie Grumpy Old Men. McCain, the lighthearted guy who is a bit of a fruitcake and Thompson the grumpy old dude always calling him a moron! LOL... maybe I would vote for that ticket. Certainly would be entertaining.

I think Colin Powell would be a good running mate for either of the governors as it adds foreign policy experience. For Huckabee I think he would best be helped by someone who is a strong economic conservative, maybe Newt Gingrich. McCain, I'm not sure on. He needs help on both the social and economic fronts of the party. My thought is that if McCain gets it, he will try to put the large grassroots group of Huckabee volunteers to use by nominating Huckabee for VP, but maybe thats just me being optimistic.
