Your definition is different than mine, and that ok! My beef is with caveman and the crap (oops) (gonna get booted) that he blames Bush for lying and going in for the wrong reasons. I will say it again: Caveman is an idiot.
I keep being told to chill out or cool off. If I wanna speak my mind just like everyone on this thread, I will. I am no "hotter under the collar" than any of you! I'm just more to the point.
Maybe I don't write as eliquently as some of you, but my opinions mean as much to me as yours do to you.

I don't get why people complain so much about this country, yet their lives are still going....they still order the venti-frappachinos, and root for their sports teams on the weekend while bbq outside, enjoying the holidays with their familys and so fourth. I don't get why any one group of people who say they support this country so much, have to do everything in their power to cut-down their own country, even as to go as far as make up ridiculous asinine tin-foiled hat, no fact lies about the administration of our country.
So what if you hate the president.......(I think everyone should have their own oppinions and formulate it..) but the buck doesn't stop here, it keeps going about people who supported going into Iraq, people who have served this country, etc. etc. I've heard it all..."i'm a war monger" because I'm a Republican...etc. etc. Whatever. Here's the thing, what am I doing that is so wrong, that I ask for proof or validations that our president should be impeached, tried for "war-crimes," or be treated and hated worst than Saddamm himself? That's pretty sad when our own country hates their president because of their party affiliation and their slanderous views on this. By the way, Im still waiting for this proof....otherwise, it's just False accusations. Which it is.
Who are the most looked at people in the world? Bush, Cheney etc. If Bill Clinton couldn't get away from having a BJ, you think Bush/Cheney's secret bank accounts and cash flow from nectaring in oil riches to his oil buddy cronies (so called) isn't looked at? Believe it or not left wingers...there are people in office that hate the president more than you do....and you don't think they are doing everything in their power to find something wrong with this president.
So far, none of these secret embezzlement and criminal activity that is getting thrown at the president is found. Hmmmm.
I've heard it was because at the time, it's mostly Rep. in congress....but when the dems. outnumbered......hmmmm, the excuses switch almost like clock-work.
You don't have to support the war, you don't have to support the president.....but what the heck, don't hate this country so much as to loud-mouth and hate speech, with the liberal propaganda through media and television (even movies, t.v shows) I get it, you guys hate the right and reps. and against the war, and almost seemingly this country. Jeeze, louise.....
My parents came to this country legally, sponsored by Christian familiess from war-torn Cambodia....their freedoms in that country was to survive and not get a plastic bag wrapped around their head with their arms and feet bounded....suffocating or getting shot by an AK at labor camps by the Khmer rouge....millions died.
They have never taken anything for granted, neither have I. We all have the utmost respect for those who gave their lives or served for this country, We also respect this country and Im proud to call myself an American.
people don't realize how bad other countries or others in general have it. We should be lucky we live in such a wonderful Country. Why bad-mouth it? Why sleep with an American blanket to cover you and give you warmth, only to throw it off when you don't need it any longer....
It's really bad, that the insurgents and terrorists use CNN and other media outlets as a tool against our own military, it's terribly sad that the leaders of these so called "freedom fighters" as the left dubs them......uses quotes from our left wing party and people who don't support the war to use against our own country and soldiers in Iraq.
I'm so sick and tired of this stupid liberal propaganda and bandwagon anti-I hate my country, what are other countries thinking of us - type people. I only hope this is a trend like the hippy days in the 60-70's which faded.
And don't talk about morality and use it against the right. We don't support gay marriages, want to change everything in the constitution/schools etc. to get rid of the word God, because it offends so many left-wingers who have no idea how free-masons and our founding fathers founded this country off of this religioius base,
trying to politically correct how schools are ran or PC races all over.....giving rights to illegals and letting them crap all over the citizens that live here (THEY'RE ILLEGALS!), taking away the 2nd amenmenta, being sue-happy and being perfectly fine with it, giving back irresponsibilities such as abortions and being fine with that....(sickens me). Supporting criminal rights, supporting captured terrorists and bleeding their hearts out for those who had wanted nothing but the destruction of our country, and anybody who is remotely American or an ally of this country for freedom.
And our president is called a nazi, Hitler.....wow, just wow folks. The left wing gets all butt-hurt and upset that Al Gore is called a Faggot by some dumb blonde who isn't anything but a spin-head (Anne Coulter), yet it's not serious or a "big deal" when our decorated General in Iraq, General Petraeus is called "General Betray-us," by moveon.org

I'm not a bible thumper, don't even go to church, I don't hate other religions in fact, I have friends who of all religious sects. I don't hate gays, just don't support marriages changed for gays...(they could have their own marriages, but not through the same traditional one that's been going on, unchanged...) in fact, there are several co-workers that are gay, a lot at the University I attended, and I have nothing against them. I'm not racist, but I don't believe in this country has to cater and aid illegals, do it right....pay taxes, act like a citizen and not a foreigner sucking up our resources and bad-mouthing it later on. Sounds similar to a certain party in this country who supports this whole thing...oh, sorry Democrats.
by the way, just as you are all entitled to your oppinion, I am to. God Bless the United States, and those who have served and are serving to give us all the freedoms that we are doing on an internet forum.
Believe it or not, we have it good. Others don't share this luxury.

A possibility........you are probably right. But that doesn't help the fact that we are still there and don't need to be. Saddam is dead and the people are able to vote for their leaders. Time to go. If they can't stop fighting amongst themselves that is their problem. They have cops now and an army. We didn't ask the French to hang out here after we kicked the poop out the British did we?
The reason that Germany and Japan developed strong democratic governments after WWII was because we did not cut and run after the war was over. We stayed to ensure that the democratic governments that we helped organize survived. That worked out rather well. Lets hope that our troops, who have done a great job, can come home soon and leave a strong democracy behind. Lets all give thanks for the young men and women who do a hard and dangerous job so far away. Lets bring them home with honor, not the way I came home from Viet Nam. | | | |
