McCain is too old.  Ronald Reagan was 69 when he took office and McCain will be 72.

Obama is a 1st term senator.  No thanks.

Huckabee is a former baptist minister, just like Jimmy Carter.  Nuff said.

Unless your voting for Nader, Hillary Clinton is the only choice.

Hillary has had her time in the White House (see other threads). She is married to one of the most notorious womanizers of our time! As a married woman all I can say, (I know, I know) is that she is still married to the man and so she must have set her game in motion, even back then. Women do NOT, at least with as much self-esteem as Hillary seems to posess, allow a man to abuse them like that wothout some form of safeguard. Have you seen any of Bill's campaigning on her behalf? The man is *meow* whipped if I've ever seen it.

Logical deduction (from a married female perspective), she knew exactly what she was doing. She set all the chips up in order to fall in her favor as the first female preisident. Any man who has experienced the extremism of a woman on a mission knows that it is equal to, "hell hath no furry as a woman scorned"!

A vote for Hillary Clinton is a vote for all the women that make other women look bad. Think about it, while the Monica fiasco was happening (after Jennifer Flowers and others), Hillary was a guest on Oprah. During Oprah's interview, she (Hillary) shrugged off questions eluding to Leweinsky and opted to give out a chocolate chip cookie recipe. This is the woman who is now running for president of these United States! Stop the INSANITY!

She loves her husband and accepted that he made some mistakes.

Would you rather have her get a divorce like 50% of the marriages?

I agree. That would have been the easy way out.

But kudos to her that she stood by her man and at the same time had the foresight to stratigize her future political career  while admitting to america her husband  was/is a womanizer. I 'd call that multi-tasking.

Oh yeah, missPolitick, you make a fantastic, controversial yet realistic, point! Jenna or Barabara may very well be a real issue! I'm thinking Barbara, simply because people are so familiar with Barbara Bush (Senior? lol) and just like with Hillary, it's all about name association for those who do not research and educate before casting their ballot.

BAMN... there it is... This is crazy!!! to say the least!

I met Hillary Clinton at a fundraiser, when Bill was running for president.  I found her to be very intelligent and genuine.

Rich, that's called "game face"! Seriously, they can all make you like them when you meet them in person for a quick Q&A.

Actually...yes! I would have respected that a lot more. I know a lot of people see divorce as an easy way out of a situation that is no longer "fun"! BUT, divorce exists for a reason, this is one of the bigger reasons. Also, it would have proven a point to their only child, who happens to be female, that you should never let anyone treat you like that!

People aren't perfect.  How many of you have cheated and didn't get divorced?  Its not like a few BJs is the end of the world or a marriage.

He should have just went on tv and said "America, it seemed like a good idea at the time".

Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad if he got his rocks off outside of the office. I was not amused that my tax dollars went to pay for his BJ's or the fiasco that followed. I was a Clinton fan back in my liberal days but I don't want them back in office, nor do I want war monger McCommunist. It makes me laugh that we all scream we want change but "we" are voting for the same old garbage. Oh well, at least when this election is all over and we are in the middle of a 100 year war or forced into socialist healthcare I can rest easy knowing I did not support these people. I will have to get one of those shirts that reads Not My President.

Okay, here's the thing, I agree with you that he should have been honest with the American people and I'm sure it did seem like a REALLY good idea at the time. Fact remains, he did not and was impeached for it. Monica was not the first time that he cheated, it wasn't the second and it most likely happens on a regular basis. This is the truth, people do make mistakes, but you are supposed to learn from them. He learned nothing besides the fact that he could count on his wife to "stand by him" and take the emotional and mental abuse.

If a spouse cheats once, then yeah, you should probably try to work it out. Most people would honestly cheat if they thought they wouldn't get caught, but not everyone. He continued his womanizing ways and ended up making a fool of himself, his wife, his daughter and his Presidency.

I find it sincerely hard to believe that any self respecting, well educated woman would allow this to continue in her marriage. I would hope, for the sake of women everywhere, that a woman like this would make a stand and say "To hell with you. If it's other women you want, then go have at it, but leave me and my healthy, non-std having self out of it!"

Just my opinion, as the victim of a cheating ex-spouse. I stood up for myself after a few incidents because I would rather be a divorcee' struggling to make it on my own than someone who feels as if she doesn't matter in some of the most basic and fundamental ways in a marriage.
