Alert | | George W. Bush not only screwed up the country, he ruined his party. Now that he's has 6 years to further his cause, we are involved in multiple wars against unseen enemies. Our civil liberties are going in the toilet. Some of the most sacred tenants of liberty are in jeopardy, i.e., warrantless wiretaps. He's given every Islamic extremist on the planet a reason to smile. On top of that, he has all but handed the White House to Hillary Clinton. I am not sure the country can survive at least three terms with zero leadership. | |

Alert | Yeah, people say that because the name Libertarian brings up the word liberal. Actually, its more along the lines of liberty. Libertarian philosophy is actually more conservative than Republican philosophy is. Some of the beliefs are less government, fewer laws, solve problems at the local level, and free market economy with as little government regulation as possible, tax at the consumption level rather than income tax, just to name a few.

Alert | | Although their isn't a party that I agree with 100%, Libertarian is the closest. I like the idea of getting rid of the IRS and going straight to a consumption tax-it would be the fairest for everyone. Also like smaller government. | |
