When asked Thursday night by NBC television presenter Brian Williams whether an abortion clinic bomber was a terrorist, Palin heaved a sigh and, at first, circumvented the question.

"There's no question that Bill Ayers by his own admittance was one who sought to destroy our US Capitol and our Pentagon. That is a domestic terrorist," Palin said, referring to a 1960s leftist who founded a radical violent gang dubbed the "Weathermen" -- and who years later supported Obama's first run for public office in the state of Illinois.

"Now, others who would want to engage in harming innocent Americans or facilities that it would be unacceptable to... I don't know if you're gonna use the word 'terrorist' there," the ardently pro-life running mate of John McCain said...

Attacks on doctors who practice abortion and on family planning clinics in the United States in the 1980s and 1990s left several people dead and scores wounded...

I am not condoning the acts of the Weathermen in anyway. However that being said, the weathermen never injured or killed anyone...

No, but not because they didn't try.

And Ayers said this:  "Kill all the rich people. ... Bring the revolution home. Kill your parents."

Well at least Eric Robert Rudolph isn't as bad as William Ayers....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Robert_Rudolph

Eric Robert Rudolph (born September 19, 1966), also known as the Olympic Park Bomber, is an American radical described by the FBI as a terroristΐ] who committed a series of bombings across the southern United States which killed two people and injured at least 150 others.

Rudolph declared that his bombings were part of a guerrilla campaign against abortion and what he describes as "the homosexual agenda." He spent years as the FBI's most wanted criminal fugitive, but was eventually caught. In 2005 Rudolph pleaded guilty to numerous federal and state homicide charges and accepted five consecutive life sentences in exchange for avoiding a trial and the death penalty. Rudolph was connected with the white supremacist Christian Identity movement.Α] Although he has denied that his crimes were religiously or racially motivated,Β] Rudolph has also called himself a Roman Catholic in "the war to end this holocaust" (of abortion).Γ]

But he is not a terrorist...

Lol, it's ok for you to say someone should want to kill their parents if they're Republican, but no one can say the same about you? Puhlease.

Actually members of the weathermen DID kill and injure people. Bill Ayers just wasn't present when that happened. Does nobody remember the Brinks robbery in Nyack New York? What about firebombing the judge's house with his family inside?

Palin said it would be unacceptable... she didn't launch her political career from a bomber's living room.

No instead the launch of her political career was helped by secessionists Mark Chryson and Steve Stoll.

Chryson has been a political fixture in the hometown of the Republican vice-presidential nominee for over a decade. During the 1990s, when Chryson directed the AIP, he and another radical right-winger, Steve Stoll, played a quiet but pivotal role in electing Palin as mayor of Wasilla and shaping her political agenda afterward. Both Stoll and Chryson not only contributed to Palin’s campaign financially, they played major behind-the-scenes roles in the Palin camp before, during and after her victory.

Palin backed Chryson as he successfully advanced a host of anti-tax, pro-gun initiatives, including one that altered the state Constitution’s language to better facilitate the formation of anti-government militias.

When Palin won the election, the men who had once shouted anti-government slogans outside City Hall now had a foothold inside the mayor's office. Palin attempted to pay back her newfound pals during her first City Council meeting as mayor. In that meeting, on Oct. 14, 1996, she appointed Stoll to one of the City Council's two newly vacant seats. But Palin was blocked by the single vote of then-Councilman Nick Carney, who had endured countless rancorous confrontations with Stoll and considered him a "violent" influence on local politics. Though Palin considered consulting attorneys about finding another means of placing Stoll on the council, she was ultimately forced to back down and accept a compromise candidate.

Emboldened by his nomination by Mayor Palin, Stoll later demanded she fire Wasilla's museum director, John Cooper, a personal enemy he longed to sabotage. Palin obliged, eliminating Cooper's position in short order. "Gotcha, Cooper!" Stoll told the deposed museum director after his termination, as Cooper told a reporter for the New York Times. "And it only cost me a campaign contribution." Stoll, who donated $1,000 to Palin's mayoral campaign, did not respond to numerous requests for an interview. Palin has blamed budget concerns for Cooper's departure.

If your parents become old and no longer useful to society, put them on an ice flow and send them out to sea in Alaska like the old days.....

ksera, try to stay on topic. Now you are saying that a secessionist is the same as a terrorist? Considering your logic that "Almost" sins of the husband transfer to the wife then based on Michelle Obama's views Obama is a black panther member. Oh, you are just talking about her backers... are you serious that you want to go down that path? Palin's so called backers look like the friggin boy scouts compared to Obama's EXTREMIST pals.

Not that I care to pander about the secessionist theory..

But the founder of AIP (Joe Vogler) was killed during a explosive sale gone bad.. just prior to him addressing the UN.. in which he was sponsored by IRAN... BTW.. he was so anti-American that when his remains were found found, he was buried in Canada.. because he refused to be buried under the American flag..

not a terrorist? here's the Founder of the Alaskan Independence Party own word's:
"My government is my worst enemy. I'm going to fight them with any means at hand."

So what did Palin have to say at the AIP meeting earlier this year (BTW, she was much older than 8..)?
"Keep up the good work, and God Bless you"
