Alert | | The problem is that liberals are shrugging this off. Bill Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn are domestic terrorists, they are not reformed people, they were pardoned by Bill Clinton. Obama has a RELATIONSHIP with this family and it runs deep. So believe the hype that Obama was only 8 when Ayers and his skank bombed and killed people, Obama wasn't 8 on 9/11/2001 when Ayers said his only regret was that he didn't do more. YEAH, that is the kind of person you want on a potential president's inner circle. Come on, lets hear the spin on why this doesn't matter.

Alert | The weathermen were a pretty dismal terrorist organization. They held a riot, which resulted in 6 of their members being shot and 287 arrested. And they bombed things, giving warning before hand to not hurt people. Their bombs had a habit of exploding while being built, killing their own members, including Ayers girlfriend. There is a bombing of a police station where someone died that is often associated with the weathermen, but they did not take responsibility and it was never successfully linked with the group.
Bill Ayers and his wife turned themselves in to authorities in 1980. A judge dropped the charges against Ayers because of prosecutorial misconduct. Since Bill Clinton wasn't president in 1980, I doubt he could have pardoned him.
There you go. Some basic information easily looked up, so when you play the association game, you don't have to come off looking like an idiot. | | http://www.maricopabikeclub.com - Join us for a bicycle ride.

Alert | LOL
So they are OK because they are small time terrorists? They took credit for 25 bombings, detonating explosives at the rebuilt Haymarket statue, a bathroom at the Pentagon, the Capitol barber shop, the New York City police headquarters, and a variety of other targets.
On October 20, 1981 -- long after the Weather Underground had ceased to exist -- former Underground member Kathy Boudin and her soon-to-be husband, David Gilbert, were accomplices in the robbery of a Brinks armored car in Nyack, New York. In the course of that heist, one Brinks guard and two Nyack police officers were murdered. Also involved in the robbery was Judith Clark, who had served a prison term for her participation in the "Days of Rage." Boudin hired attorney Leonard Weinglass, a law partner of her father, to defend her in the case. Weinglass arranged for a plea bargain whereby Boudin pled guilty to one count of felony murder and robbery, in exchange for a prison sentence of twenty years to life. She was paroled in 2003, however, over strong opposition from New York State police. Gilbert remains in New York's Attica State Prison, having refused to bargain.
In 1985, former Weather Underground members Susan Rosenberg (who also was implicated in the Nyack robbery) and Linda Evans were apprehended while transporting 740 pounds of explosives which they both acknowledged were slated for use in additional bombings. Rosenberg was sentenced to 58 years in prison, Evans 40; President Bill Clinton pardoned both women in January 2001.

Alert | | Oh, I see. Sorry, I missed the connection. So not only do you need to worry about what people you work with did 30 years ago, you need to worry about what their friends did 20 years ago. Pardon me, I need to ask my co-workers about their friends to see if I need to quit my job. | | http://www.maricopabikeclub.com - Join us for a bicycle ride.

Alert | Obviously he wasn't/isn't that famous. For instance, even with all his publicity, some people don't even know how to spell his name, they think he killed people, or think he was pardoned by Clinton.

Alert | First, Obama (like most Americans) has said the actions of Ayers are despicable. The actions that happened when OBAMA WAS 8!!!!
The only connection (that Hilary and you have stablished) is that they had a working relationship because they sat on the same board. They sat on the board of the Annenberg Foundation. Annenberg??? Walter Annenberg, US ambassador and friend of Ronald Reagan?? Yup.
Annenberg let Ayers be part of his foundation!! Using your logic, this makes Ronald Reagan a terrorist!!!!
Please bring on the next smear...

Alert | This is the best article I have read so far, it basically says, "The Obama campaign has cried foul when Bill Ayers comes up, claiming "guilt by association." Yet the issue here isn't guilt by association; it's guilt by participation. As CAC chairman, Mr. Obama was lending moral and financial support to Mr. Ayers and his radical circle."
It is a good article that deals with the more current acts of Ayers, the left wing nut that he is. http://baseballcrank.com/archives2/2008/09/politics_the_ob_1.php
