That's the biggest piece of S**T I've ever read on this site.

It's sad that stuff like this has to be posted. It's sad that I'm living in McCain territory. It's sad that I cant move....

So tell me drummer, what socialist country have you lived in, and what made it better living there compared to living here?

Are we talking about Socialism or Communism?

Socialism refers to a broad set of economic theories of social organization advocating state or collective ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods, and the creation of an egalitarian society. Modern socialism originated in the late nineteenth-century working class political movement. Karl Marx posited that socialism would be achieved via class struggle and a proletarian revolution, it being the transitional stage between capitalism and communism.

Communism is a socioeconomic structure that promotes the establishment of an egalitarian, classless, stateless society based on common ownership of the means of production and property in general. The communist movement has attempted to produce a communist society by setting up political parties, which in some cases have become governments. These attempts have never produced a communist society, and have frequently led to totalitarian states.

I like Feudalism........

Feudalism, a term first used in the early modern period (17th century), in its most classic sense refers to a Medieval Europe political system composed of a set of reciprocal legal and military obligations among the warrior nobility, revolving around the three key concepts of lords, vassals, and fiefs. It often occurs alongside Manorialism. Although derived from the Latin word feodum (fief), then in use, the term feudalism and the "system" it purports to describe were not conceived of as a formal political system by the people living in the Medieval Period.

Well, where do I start?
It was in 1992 that I befriended some danish tourists, while I was living in Chicago.
We remained in contact for a few years. I traveled back and forth to visit. With every visit, I grew fonder and fonder of denmark and grew more and more intolerant of the american way.

In 1994 I decided to move there and start a life in another country. It was very difficult, because I had to learn the language and adjust to their ways. I applied for temporary citizenship and in doing so, I was required to take danish lesson. This is something that should be inforced here(english, that is).

Life was waaay laid back and no one worried about how they were going to  make ends meet. People actually had time to enjoy life, instead of working 60 hours a week.

I never had a car during my time living there. Making it nice to be not so dependent on gas to get around. People would be surprised how much weight you could lose, by not driving a car...lol.

Then I began working and paid about 45% in taxes. With these taxes, I was able to go to ANY doctor I chose and didn't have to wait weeks to see the Dr. Something you guys think they do. Once I got a grasp of the language, I went to school...something else that's free.
I was a furniture maker apprentice for a while, but cut it short to move back to america.

Other benefits - I was unemployed for about 7 months and received about 95% of my pay.

Free college, free childcare, 6 months maternity leave for the father and one year for the mother.

37 hour work week
5 weeks vacation

I never met one person that was unhappy with the socialistic ways that the government provided, never met anyone that could'nt pay their mortgage/rent and never met a homeless person. Unless you want to count all the drunk german tourists. 

But, this was 8 years ago, because I left in 2000, making it a total of 6 years living there. It may be way different by now, no thanks to american influences all over the world.

I too thought it was going to be like living in russia, but I was mistaken. Socialism is better than you think, but do you guys think?....
