Alert | | preach on misspolitick. I think palin is awesome. Besides last time I checked she was the vp nominee not the presidential frontrunner like obama. Anyway I think its awesome because we finally have one person who has some integrity. | | "If everyone had the right priorities in life there would always be a shortage of fishing poles" Mark Twain

anyone think its a surprise that dubya&dick have decided to skip the convention to head for the gulf coast area? could it be that grandpa felt it wasnt wise to tell them to stay away so they used the storm as an excuse for both the horses rear ends to stay away so grandpee mcsame can distance himself from them? its not fooling anyone btw, his voting record says it all about how he feels about dubyas policies.
\ Thank you for your post. you enabled me to win a bet with my wife. I bet her that Bush haters would use the storm to take a swipe at Bush.I bet her that if he went to the convention, they would say that he did not care about all of the poor black people being driven from their homes, and if he did not go to the convention they would say that he was using the storm as an excuse skip the convention. I proved to be right. The haters are soo predictable.

This kind of thinking makes me ill. So, because I disagree with his platform I am either racist or predjudiced? Neither his color nor his religious background carry any weight for me whatsoever. I think he speaks well. I think he's probably a good man. I think he has the natural presence of a leader. BUT, I abhor what he wants to do with our government and therefore I cannot, in good conscience vote for him. Can we please give the public some credit, that maybe we're not all racists and swayed solely by one's color? It seems to me that most of the people belaboring on his color or his Muslim faith are the ones planning on voting for him. The rest of us are looking deeper than that. Can you guys please do the same?

Alert | Drummer.......you have sunk to a new low. Regardless of your low intellect and ignorant ways, you should be ashamed to make that statement about Sarah Palin. Your statement goes beyond politics...
With your stupid idiotic mind.............you should be ashamed.
Such references are a perfect example of a weak mind expressing itself.
Sorry if you can't understand this message and the words are too big for you.

Alert | | Btw, I am totally stoked about Palin as McCain's running mate. I'm not sure if his pick will have any effect on those who had already lighted on Obama or those on the fence, but with her as his running mate I am much more comfortable voting for McCain now. She seems real and in-touch with the majority of this country. The fact that she was willing to go after some of the big dogs, including her own party, smacks of integrity and willingness to fight for what she believes in. I respect that.

Hey Corman, what comment are you talking about? Obviously you don't watch Triumph the Insult Dog, when he's on Conan O'Brien.
And no, I apologize to no one for a stupid comment like that. If you don't know what I was referring too, then you owe us an apology for not being up to date with current humor. | | "Everything for everyone and nothing for ourselves"

Alert | no hastings, i didnt say it had anything to do with poor black people. i said its obvious mcsame cant have a president&VP with an abysmal approval rating stumping for him when its obvious the nation has turned against him&his policys but then again the reps are the dumbies who voted for him, why i dont know maybe cuz they hate abortion&gays&their rights but thanks for 8 yrs of hate&war mongering, 'preciate it *rolls eyes*.
honestly, what is so bad about obama's plans? either way taxes are likely to go up, with mcsame or Barack in office. i would rather have my taxes pay for infrastructure repairs, social programs to help those less fortunate than myself, college assistance in exchange for community or service to the country, renewable&smart energy plans rather than be in the pocket of big oil&utilities and finally diplomacy as a 1st resort vs bombing everything&everyone, making sure everyone in the greatest country on earth has affordable insurance instead of looking out for big insurance's profit margins like the reps have been doing, etc etc etc. why does socialism get a bad rap? dont we already have a socialist police&fire dept? seems like when corporations run vital services like health care&energy&are only concerned about $$$$$$ then the peoples best interest are not served, just their own | | listened for, they cannot be heard;looked for, they cannot be seen; felt for, they cannot be touched: old ninja proverb

why does socialism get a bad rap?
The best people to ask would be the people who lived in the former socialist paradises of Poland, Romania, Hungry, East Germany, Bulgaria, and the USSR.
