I figured it was going to be a women. Thanks for the kudos. The 3 names I kept hearing was Sara, Kay Bailey Hutchison, and Carly Fiorin. Fiorin would have been great for the economy, but she has too much baggage. I think of the 3 Sara was the best choice. Plus he grabed the conservative wing with the pick as well. Can't wait for the debates. Funny how liberals keep saying that Sara is inexperienced and will get murdered in the debates. I feel the same about Obama. And he would be president on day one. If Biden comes across as rude and insulting, there will be the biggest wave of female voters for McCain/Palin.

In a thread about Joe Biden I am glad you can articulate why you think he adds something to the Obama ticket. We can go back and forth about headlights all day if it makes you giddy and feel good about yourself but can you try to tell us why you think he is actually a positive influence to Obama's campaign? Personally I think Biden was brought on to outweigh Obama's lack of experience. Like when a lawfirm brings on some 90 year old part-time lawyer just to say, we have over 100 years experience... blah, blah, blah. But I could be wrong. Now are you going to tell me what kind of car I drive or try to sell me on Biden?
Wompus, why don't we just call a spade, a spade? America is just not ready to bear witness to a 47 year old black man pouncing on a 72 year old decorated war hero! That is precisely why Senator Obama has been soft in responding to the McCains camp trash talk. So stay tuned because with Biden aboard the gloves will most certainly come off for the final rounds, I predict Senator McCain will be against the ropes by mid September. We will all bear witness to a very poor geriatric attempt at Ali's famous "rope-a-dope"!
