Judging by how weak Barak "you can't say my middle name" Obama is on national security Biden was his best pick. I just hope Mccain goes with Romney

Record of Biden's opinion of Obama - "Having talking points on foreign policy doesn't get you there." Biden also said that Obama's foreign policy ideas were "very naive".(ABC News 8/2/07). When asked if Obama is ready to be president, Biden told George Stephanopoulos on ABC This Week (8/19/07) "I don't believe he is. The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training." So, it looks like his own VP pick thinks that Obama is an empty suit.

This was a bit of a surprise for me. I didn't think he would make a pick that says so plainly that Barack "Don't say my middle name you racist" Obama is compensating for his inexperience.

Although I disagree with much of Biden's policy, I guess its good to have someone on the ticket with some experience on how politics works.

Wow Bob, what a great idea. Did your 7 year old come up with that one by herself or did you help her?

What about if your car has auto lights?

Sen. Kit Bond told reporters in a telephone conference call today two things of note:

1) Obama-Biden is the most liberal ticket in American history. His exact words: "By choosing Joe Biden, Barack Obama has solidified the title as the most liberal ticket ever to be put forward by the Democratic Party."

2) The Biden selection will have almost zero impact on McCain's thinking about who his veep should be, Bond said. In fact, he called the pick of Biden a "non-factor" in McCain's choice.

"I don't think Joe Biden presents any challenges that Senator McCain can't meet by himself."

I think Biden is a tool who would have been put out to pasture if he were a republican.

Here, want a laugh? Tell me that he would still have a job if he was a republican.

Bob,
In a thread about Joe Biden I am glad you can articulate why you think he adds something to the Obama ticket. We can go back and forth about headlights all day if it makes you giddy and feel good about yourself but can you try to tell us why you think he is actually a positive influence to Obama's campaign? Personally I think Biden was brought on to outweigh Obama's lack of experience. Like when a lawfirm brings on some 90 year old part-time lawyer just to say, we have over 100 years experience... blah, blah, blah. But I could be wrong. Now are you going to tell me what kind of car I drive or try to sell me on Biden?

Obiden is so obvious; points out and brings forth bama's extreme lack of experience with 143 days in the senate.

Another gaffe.  Should have picked a younger man with experience.

Anyone but Hillary.

Now McCain could pick Kay Hutchinson to really balance ticket.

I think there will be a 70% chance that the other half of the McCain ticket will be female. Although conservatives aren't joyous about McCain, the alternate will be the most liberal ticket ever. The largest demographic McCain can grab is women, and especially middle of the road women that feel left behind with the Obama/Hillary rift.

Bob- for the last time. In America, and in English, the ? comes after the sentence, not before. Its really quite simply, ask your 7 year old, I'm sure she knows.

Drummer, you must be driving an Obama special... you know that one that can make it through all 57 states on a single tank of hot air?
