At least Maricopa county Sheriff Joe Arpaio is trying to enforce immigration laws.

Very nice. I have to applaud Sheriff Arpaio for manning up and doing what is right.

***official stop by***

I have read and understood the posting on this thread and have nothing to add.

Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem.

What Joe likes is getting on TV and media coverage.

Thanks,
Higgs

Liberalism and capitalism address themselves to the cool, well-balanced mind. They proceed by strict logic, eliminating any appeal to the emotions. Socialism, on the contrary, works on the emotions, tries to violate logical considerations by rousing a sense of personal interest and to stifle the voice of reason by awakening primitive instincts.

Every politician likes getting on TV and in the media. The difference here is Joe is doing something for the people instead of doing something for special interest.
