Do some research on your own.
As you know, McCain's position regarding Afghanistan was sending NATO troop....not American forces. Look it up on ANY news site.
Yesterday, After an Obama speech stating that he believed we need to send two more American brigades to Afghanistan, McCain said in New Mexico:
We need to send 3 more American brigades. Once again, look it up on ANY news site.
After his speech, McCain again said that NATO forces needed to take on the main roll in Afghanistan.

Alert | The question remains , what has he done (not what does he say he will do ,all politicians make promises and thinking voters take them with a grain of salt) to show that he is equipped to be President. he has never been in charge of anything of note, never had to make executive decisions about anything, is a three year Senator with not one legislative achievement of note, and as a state legislator he voted present 130 times, thus refusing to take a stand that might upset someone. Do you want a President who refuses to make a decision because someone ,somewhere in the world may get upset? I'm disappointed in Bush and will not vote for McCain, but is Obama really the best we can do? | | | |

No, I do not personally care what color he is, but what his past record, current actions and beliefs say. He could be green for all I care, BUT as evidenced in the Sonic thread in the general section, any mention of color is interpreted as racism, and in Obama's case, much of the country is eager to have a president who is not just an old, starchy white dude and those who do not support him are seen as dissenters because of his color. If the press were to really go after him, they'd be accused of racism. He's untouchable. I'm saddened that McCain & Obama are the only 2 viable candidates. | | | |

Alert | | Yeah that's what I hate. If you just don't like him, people can just call you racist. I think what McCain's supporters need to do is fight back, calling anyone who disagrees with his beliefs either racist (against whites of course, which does exist), or ageist. Problem solved. | | | |

This film is just one of the many that show his lack of respect for our country. There is no point in arguing about I just know I will NOT vote for this man and I hope that people really research this man before deciding to vote for him. | | | |

Alert | This why I never look at this forum. You can't take individual sentences and garner any meaning from them with out understanding the context of the sentences. I could take individual quotes from the Bible and do the same thing. In his book he clearly states he went though an identity crises and these quotes are taken directly from chapters where he discusses that point in his life. Vote or campaign against someone if you disagree with his policies and experience, but don't misrepresent statements he has made and spread rumors that are clearly not true. | | | |
