Although I am not a very big fan of McCain, its hard to say that he isn't a man of substance. He gave a great service to this country, and has served many terms as a Senator. Once again Dummer72, what is the great accomplishment or substance of Obama......?

(crickets chirping)

If there's one thing I learned in life, it 's to have faith in people. Sure, Obama doesn't have a record like McCain, but I believe he can do something more positive for our country than JOHN SIDNEY McCAIN. It's not what a man has done, it's what  a man will do. Besides, who wants a president that can't even lift his arm(s) over his shoulders?  I know I'm not the only one that has pretty much abandoned all hope for this country...

Yes, I'm a dreamer, but once you have no dreams, you don't have much to live for.

Well, you admit it, Obama doesn't have the EXPERIENCE that McCain does.  You are also a horrible person saying that because McCain can't lift his arms over his head he is unqualified.  That is a after effect of the wounds and torture McCain suffered as a POW while serving his country.  You should be ashamed of yourself making a remark like that.

Welfare's purpose should be to eliminate, as far as possible, the need for its own existence.

Why should I be ashamed for having a twisted sense of humor? That's just the way I am. I don't mean anyone harm. I'm just having fun...

...even if it's just by myself. What ever happened to freedom of speech? I thought it was a right you republicans try so dearly to defend?

So drummer, it's fun to ridicule an American patriot for his injuries suffered under torture as a P.O.W.? You talk so glibly about your right to free speech, just out of curiosity, did you ever serve in the military in order to protect those liberties that you enjoy? Or do you just let men like McCain serve and protect you and your right to ridicule their wounds? If you did serve, how would you like having people make jokes about your wounds?

McCain's military service should not be ridiculed, he is an awesome hero in that regard....

Doesn't mean I am going to vote for him, or that his crew should keep harping on his military service as the reason to vote for him, but with regard to his service he rocks and should be treated with respect.....

I'm not making fun of him being injuried in the miltary at all. NO, I DID NOT serve. If he was injured at a party it makes no difference.

People make fun of me everyday, I'm used to it.

I mean no harm towards those that served. I'm just making fun of John Sidney.

Well if its all fun and games, what's next?  Plane crash victims?  9/11 victims?  Holocast victims?  It was distasteful and we all know it.  Dummer72, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Yet you get all up in "arms" and offended about a Curious George comment. Don't censor yourself, but don't try to censor others, either, and we will all get along.

it's the liberal double standard....either way McCain is 10 times the man Obama could ever be.

That is kinda the liberal way isn't it. Rules only apply when they can call you out. But the same rules don't apply when you try to call them out. Then, its just a right-wing conspiracy. Just ask Hillary.

How about we stop with all the derogatory comments from either side, instead of the childish "he said this so I can say this" mentality?????
