Come on, is this really a surprise to anyone?

Its a toomah...... how funny that they are now related?

I mean water on the brain would be a better karma... someone said stroke and his brain thought of his escape route from Mary Jo and wham he had a seizure.

My dad died of this type of brain cancer.  The story sounded all too familiar when the news broke.  I had a feeling this is what Senator Kennedy might be going through.

Joking aside, Wompus, it will be a hard road, and time is of the essence.

My dad had the surgery, the radiation, the chemo wafers--he lasted 11 months.

All this time I thought Wompus might have been carried off by a bunch of illegals and buried in the desert.

Hey, I am truly sorry for your father but Ted Kennedy is no saint. The guy is a bleeding heart liberal who leeches off the public teet. Oh yeah, he also killed at least one girl. So forgive me if I don't show him any sympathy. I honestly don't wish him dead... but a few painful years?

Anyone who kids around when any public figure has a life threatening situation, regardless of our personal opinion of them, is just a small minded person. Which in wompus' case is likely a good thing for him, as maybe his tiny brain won't be a target for cancer.

The Kennedy family has my prayers, and my thanks for contributing to this nation, and stepping up and participating in positive ways - unlike some of the small brained people on this site.

LOL

The illegals tried... now there are a few less illegals in the world.

As for your sense of humor drummer? Ask me if I care.

Karma is a wonderful thing and I don't fear mine.... do you?

He won't have a few years if indeed it is a glioblastoma -- a grade IV astrocytoma.  It will be painful for all involved.  So if my father was a liberal, then you would've wished him the same fate?  How can you be truly sorry for one man you don't know anything about, and have absolutely no regard for human suffering?

BTW, at least we know it's you Wompus,  if you had shown any sensitivity at all, we may have thought  your user account had been hijacked!

It is easier to be sorry for someone I don't know than it is for a scum like Kennedy. Did your dad kill anyone? Has your father stood in the way of renewable energy while still calling himself a liberal? I could go on and on from Teddy's nazi father to his ridiculous left-wing positions.

As for the second part, lol and thanks!

Nope, none of those.  He also was not fond of Ted himself.  I don't think he would've wished any ill will on him though--oh except for maybe when that tumor totally affected his brain and thinking. . . . . .hmmmm, been to a doctor lately, Wompus?  Maybe you have more in common with Teddy and my dad after all!

I knew a guy who had the same diagnosis. The doctors gave him 6 months to live. He lived almost  9 months, what do doctors know?

Seantor Kennedy's diagnosis is not complete, and likely won't be until they decide to do a biopsy and do the pathology to determine the stage of the cancer.  Even stage III will give months.  Stage four, a true glioblastoma, will not provide much more than 2-3 months, without any treatments.  Surgeries, radiation and chemotherapy always affects the outcome and typically gives up to a year.  Ecah person is an individual with their own other health factors coming into play so each outcome will be different.  Doctors do know quite a bit, while it is not everything.  Anyone expecting to drop dead right at the time frame a doctor gives you has misunderstood what the doc has had to say.

That being said, this thread about Senator Kennedy's brain cancer belongs in the health category.  Anyone wishing to bash him politically should start a new one.

A biopsy? You really think he can afford to lose any more of his brain?

Anything to do with politicians should stay in politics.

As for his timeframe: A doctor gave a guy six months to live. He didn't pay his bill, so he gave him another six months.

And FYI I didn't with this on Kennedy... a higher power did.

wompus' brain is too small to know the difference between posts. He is an insult to our community, as is anyone who finds humor in the serious illness of a fellow American. He is a prime example of the sorry folks who have come to Maricopa.

A fellow American who left Mary Jo to die in a watery grave.

He didn't even report the accident to the police.  Local fisherman actually called the police when they saw the submerged car, the next day.

He is scum.
