As it seems that Obama has the Democratic nomination all but in his pocket, why is Clinton still campaigning? Several possible reasons come to mind. She may honestly feel that she will be better for the country. She may be hoping for another bombshell that will derail Obama and convince the super-delegates that he is unelectable. She may want to continue to raise money to repay her loans to herself. Perhaps she wants to exchange her support for the VP slot. Maybe she wants to beat up Obama so that he loses the general election. She would then be the obvious candidate in four years. What do you think?

i voted hillary. i think she has a much better chance of beating mccain. i do believe she thinks she can still win w/the super delegates. i'd like to see this come to an end in june though. i think waiting until august is really going to weaken the democratic party as a whole against mccain. i would definitely vote obama though if he is against mccain.

this time i want a smart president!

This a very interesting race. Early on, I was hlad to Obama make headway and overcome Clinton's lead. But now, I find myself wanting Hillary to continue. I didn't vote for either one, but I'm interested in the process.

I must say that after the Tues. that Hillary won Pennsylvania, I thought she gave an inspiring speech when she referred to what generations over time have taken for granted but change continues for the generation after. As Don King would say, "Only in America".

It seems that Obama pretty much wrapped it up, but one never knows. I want to believe Hillary believes she can still win it. She's going to give all she can until a decision made. It's a very good test for Obama. I believe this final leg has brought out the best in her.

She even impressed me by taking the interview with Bill O'Reilly. Then she further impressed me with the interview itself. She did not let O'Reilly knock her off track. She spoke with conviction.

Again, no matter how it turns out, I find the process very educational.

You may remember this from the original 85239:
Proverbs 22:7
The rich ruleth over the poor and the borrower is servant to the lender.

I do think she would be the tougher candidate for John McCain. I 100% think she is in it still to start early campaining for her run in 2012.

They say it's not over until the "fat lady sings", and she has sung.  Hillary is just being deliberatly deaf.  If she continues to push thru the remaining primarys she is going to get a LOT of pressure from the Democrat Party to give it up already.

However, even if she pushes it all the way to convention time, she will not get the nomination.  But also, it will NOT hurt the Democrat run for the White House.  The party will unite solidly behind Obama and his message of hope and a different future will carry the day against McCain.  McCain represents the past, Obama the future.
