Can you clarify what you are trying to say here? Your run-on sentence had so much broken English I could not understand what you were trying to convey.

I would disagree with that statement.

If you read into it a little more they are more concerned with the issues at hand in their own country than that of some village in the middle east. With such a large muslim population within their borders they run the risk of increased inner turmoil if they take the fight to another country where many of their citizens may have relatives.

This in a way is their version of our immigration issue. The harder you try to push something the more inner turmoil you will have within your borders.

Europe has had 100 times as many terrorist attacks as we have- the last thing their officials want is to increase the chances of more by backing us in attacking others.

An interesting discussion subject! What is even more interesting is the fact that this is not a new problem for Western Europe. 2,000 years or so ago, the Roman Empire faced the same dilemma. Huge numbers of foreigners moved into Italy (the heart of the Empire), with no desire to adapt or assimilate. The problem is discussed in volume III of Will Durant's The Story of Civilization. When discussing the decline of Rome, he wrote that: "If Rome had not engulfed so many men of alien blood in so brief a time, . . .  If she had occasionally closed her gates to let assimilation catch up with infiltration . . . (Rome) might have remained a Roman Rome, the voice and citadel of the West. The task was too great." Durant wrote this in 1944. The parallels with modern day Europe are eerie. It seems that the more things change, the more they stay the same.

>>>Although it is a run on sentences, even those with a rudimentary grasp of English are able to find the main idea. Hastings for an example.

Oh yeah, another attack on liberals, near and far.
I'm willing to bet, that the attacks would be at the same level, had we never started all this 9/11 commision stuff.
I don't feel any safer or less safe than I did on 9/10/01.

You may be able to stop a terrorist, but you won't ever stop terrorism. Terrorist have more at stake. If we thought that killing others was the ONLY way to be with God, I'm sure alot would be doing the same. I don't condone it, it's just a fact.

drummer72 with all of the misspellings and poor grammar I think we need a war on education in this country. The rednecks have been running the helm for too long with their 3rd grade mentality.

So are you saying that now when you step on to an airplane that you're not a little thankful for all the extra security measures and for your peers paying a little more attention to their surroundings in the airport, even if you don't? Also, if we can never stop terrorism, does that translate into the U.S. and our allies just sitting around, "clinging to our guns" and keeping a look out for terrorists to show their faces in our neighborhoods, mall, or airport? If we have the capability of hunting terrorist organizations around the world why shouldn't we? If you lived in a small country with no military wouldn't you hope that the U.S. would help you defend your homeland from radicals? I don't see how the terrorists have more at stake.

A change of foreign policy is the first real step towards fighting terrorism....let's take a real hard look at who we support now with weapons....because they might turn enemies later....
