Who ever wrote that quote was a moron. Fuel sources like corn ethanol won't lower CO2 emissions, and I don't think anyone who knows better advertises them as such. Ethanol is an alternative to oil, but it's still burns and produces CO2. People pushing for reduced CO2 emmissions mention things like wind, solar, nuclear, geothermal . . .
You apparently didn't do your " does ethanol blended gasoline reduce CO2 emissions" Google search. The experts can't agree. Surprise, surprise!
Anyway, the point of this post and others I've posted on this subject is that if global warming is actually taking place (which is debatable) it is merely a phase of a natural cycle and man has absolutely no control over it. |
