Shortage: Al Gore sees no climate improvement since he made "An Inconvenient Truth." Actually, things have gotten worse. As the environmentalists celebrate Earth Day, the rush to replace fossil fuels threatens global famine.

I still haven't seen Al Gore's movie.

Michael Moore hadn't seen a dime of my money until Republicans kept talking about his movies. I finally went out and got them. So, I guess it's the outraged Republicans that are making Al Gore and Michael Moore rich.

It's a pretty good movie. But, who's going to take my word? I'm just an idiot liberal that takes hand outs and never works.

Earth day is the biggest crop of crap.... most don't even know the history behind or how the founder Ira Einhorn was a murderer. Like how he killed Holly Maddux and stuffed her in the trunk of his car.... Now theirs an inconvenient truth...

Very interesting and informative.  For Einhorn's sake, it's a good thing he is in prison where it is nice and warm.  Recent scientific data indicates the weather in many parts of the world is going to be awfully cold on April 22 for several years to come.

Who ever wrote that quote was a moron. Fuel sources like corn ethanol won't lower CO2 emissions, and I don't think anyone who knows better advertises them as such. Ethanol is an alternative to oil, but it's still burns and produces CO2. People pushing for reduced CO2 emmissions mention things like wind, solar, nuclear, geothermal . . .

You apparently didn't do your " does ethanol blended gasoline reduce CO2 emissions" Google search.  The experts can't agree. Surprise, surprise!

Anyway, the point of this post and others I've posted on this subject is that if global warming is actually taking place (which is debatable) it is merely a phase of a natural cycle and man has absolutely no control over it.

Did you google search Earth Day? It says Gaylord Nelson founded the April 22nd Earth Day. John McConnell founded the March equinox Earth Day.

Ira Einhorn can claim to be the founder of Earth Day. And others can misinform the public that he is the founder of Earth Day. That doesn't mean it's true. He also claimed that the CIA killed Holly Maddux.

If I claim I invented the internet, it doesn't mean it's true.

side note trivia: Ira Einhorn's original attorney that helped get him released on bond was Arlen Specter. Senator Arlen Specter was a Democrat before he became a Republican. Ronald Reagan was also a Democrat before he became a Republican. Hillary Clinton was a Goldwater Girl before she became a Democrat.

Exactly. How did you afford to see a movie without any money though? Were people really that generous? And I did hear it was a great work of fiction. It is definitely on my to-see list, after I finally get around to Shrek 3.

The government gives out movie tickets to the needy. How else do you think all those rowdy minorities get in to see movies?
