I find it interesting that although the priorities of our city are supposed to be public safety, economic development and parks and recreation. They have already cut in public safety, and now plan to not go forward with several parks and rec plans. A lot of good public input does for these guys.

I agree totally, Clean the Slate in '08. We can't afford these guys anymore.

I could not agree more. This current crop has probably taken the city backwards 5 years.

I totally agree regards Dunn.  However, who is the lesser of two evils between Haddad and Carl Diedrich?  I have not heard much about him at all.

Carl Diedrich would never go to a meeting unprepared to discuss the issues, and ask questions. Haddad on the other hand no only is unprepared, he does not even listen to many of the presentations during Council meetings. Remember, right after the Council had sat through a training session on proper council / manager relationships, open meeting law requirements, and the like, he disregarded the information presented, and decided to get his petition signed at City Hall - a clear violation.

Carl Diedrich would not only have listened to the presentation, asked questions, he would research what you can and can't do when electionering. Haddad is the evil here, not Diedrich. Haddad is the one who does not vote in ways that are beneficial to our community, Diedrich will listen to the facts, not others pocketbooks, and then vote. Haddad will stay the course, and that will result in further undermining of this community;s future. Diedrich will lead us to a more positive future. Haddad has had the opportunity to make a difference, and we see what his council has lead us to. It is time for a change, or our future is bleak.

Just look at Haddad's record, I think the only time he voted against the rest of the council was with Buss's severance - other than that, I do not remember him challenging other votes.

Carl Diedrich would absolutely listen to all the facts... and then vote however his wife tells him to.

Kelly Haddad seems to have the perfect constructed answer for every question that is presented.

He just sounds too fishy for me.

Plus, how come we never heard him or had him approach us until NOW?

The one person who I supported got voted in, I'm not sure if I'll even vote in the run off tbh.

Not voting is the one sure way to guarantee the status quo.

That's because Dunn told him how to vote!

That is what Dunn and Haddad want you to do; not vote. Please , go to the pools on May 20th and vote for Brown and Diedrich. Do it for the future of Maricopa. Our lives depend on it!
