Honestly, if I lived out of state of my "team" I would have signed up for Directv a LONG TIME AGO rather than wait until 2 days before opening day, sign up for a crappy cable service that doesn't offer the package, and then go on a message board asking if anyone with the package would let me come over. But then again, I love my team, and it would have never came to that.

So, getting DirectTv makes one a real fan? What a joke.

Not watching your team when you have the opportunity doesn't exactly define the term "fan" which comes from the word "fanatic." It is weird to me when fans of out of state teams that watch a third of there teams games try to talk about their teams. You can't follow a team in a box score. Its the difference between a casual follower and a fan. So yes, if you choose to get a crappy product like Orbitel that prevents you from watching your team, I would have to question how important it really is. One of my friends who just moved out of state, bought Directv and the Sunday ticket within the first week at his new home to watch the Cardinals. He won't be missing a game this year. So does getting Directv and the Sunday Ticket make you a real fan? Not necessarily. But not watching them definitely doesn't.

What a joke. I lived here a whole 2 weeks. I had no idea Orbitel did not have a football package. All the cable companies in the Seattle area offer a Sunday Ticket package. Since I have been her eI am working 80 hour weeks, trying to straighten out our Southwest division. I am a real fan, I do not miss games, and I will find a way to watch my seahawks no matter what. Even if I have to go buy a dish and reciever and hook it up myself today.

It is a real shame that your team is in the same division as Seattle. Sure I like it because I know I can go to one game a year and watch the Seahawks win. It must suck being in the same division as the Seahawks, knowing you will not be the division champs again. For the record though I understand how it feels to be a fan of a loosing team for years. So hang in there the Cardinals won't suck forever, and you never know they may change divisions some time so they coudl have a shot at winning.

Heratik, be careful there. Last year I was all mouthy about how the Hawks were going to cream Arizona here at home and they got TROUNCED. They played like the Seahawks we all knew and loved in the mid-90s. It was UGLY.

I am a HUGE Seahawks fan! I used to take the train from Whitefish, Montana into Seattle at least once a season to catch a game. That was during the Largent/Kreig years.

We've got the NFL package and I'll be watching and cheering for Shaun and the boys. Can't WAIT!!!!

Sapo

P.S. But I can't invite you over because I don't know you and that would be a bit creepy. I'm sure that the game will be on in Arena.

Heratik,

For the record, no cable company in Seattle carries the NFL Sunday Ticket. That package is and always ahas been a Directv exclusive, but since you lived in Seattle you never had a need for it so you get a pass. Now go get your Sunday Ticket and make sure your Alexander jersey is ready for Sunday.

As far as it sucking being in Seattle's division...hardly. AZ went 4-2 in the division last year which was the best interdivision record, including a win over Seattle. I have not and never will consider Seattle some major threat. As far as the one game you get to go to a year, well thats dandy but I get to see my team every week at home. So enjoy it on TV. The only thing I hate, and this does not apply to you because you are legit, is when poser fans that are from AZ but support some random team, show up at our stadium talking smack and they have nothing invested in the team they represent. They are fans who don't know a damn thing about the team the alledgedly support, and they are the same fans you'll see supporting the Suns. They show up in Bears gear, Cowboys gear, Broncos, you name it. I got into it last year with an Arizona Native Bears fans, who ran major smack at teh game, but could not name ONE TEAM the Bears had played up to that point and had never set foot in Illinois. Those poser a-hole fans, with nothing invested, are the worst.

Good luck this year, and when the time is right, AZ will dethrone you, but for now you are on top. And you guys did get screwed out of a Championship.

PS: Most out of town fans in AZ are fans by wearing a hat occasionally. Supporting another team without a reason is like cheating on your wife with the new hot intern. Ditch the fad along with the Backstreet Boys CDs and support the home team.

My bretheren, azsouth, is being nice. I have never been accused of being such.

Seattle sucks...the city, the teams, and the people from there.

Sorry to break this to you. I'm sure you agree though, or else you'd still be living there, verdad??

Yeah, I had to go back and delete my real thoughts many times, especially about the Bears "fans". I wouldn't want to offend Carolyn and not be able to get my daily dose of how much fast food restaraunts suck, the schools suck, city government sucks, and life sucks.

Good News!
I've found a spot where you can watch the game!

Ouch. Have you been to Seattle?

Sure teams go up and down, but just because the Sonics suck, or the Mariners can't win a game in 2 weeks (when it really matters) does not mean a guy like me will stop being a fan.

The people suck? Man, that hurts. I like to think of myself as a nice guy, who gives a lot to his community, and who makes a positive impact in this world. I don't see how that sucks.

I admit it, I love it down here. So far I love Maricopa, and I love working in Phoenix. I do love Seattle more. The reason I moved here is because I got a huge raise and promotion, from my company founded and headquartered in Seattle. That said though, my company would have to give me a huge raise to get me to move back. My money goes a lot farther here

And I must say, I respect all you Cardinal fans! I know what it is like to live in a city where all the people cheer for the other team, you just want to put a butt up thier, eh,you know. It was real hard for me to be Seahawk fan for most of my life.

I do believe the Cards will win tomorrow, it will be a fun game to watch. But I will always be a Seahawks fan at heart.
