Our girls played 2 great games yesterday.  First game against Kooltown we won 19-4.  The second game against Chandler Crush was more challenging, but we came away w/ a solid 10-8 win.  I was very proud of the girls and can't wait for next week.

Also, wanted to give props to the City of Maricopa and especially to Monica Rubio for putting this league together.  You did a great job.

that is right the Rage did a great job and I am sure the 14u will do the same on Thursday. It is great to see people from all over out here to play some ball. City of Copa and Monica did a FANTASTIC Job!

Update. The girls played a double header last night. First game was a solid win over the Casa Grande Heat 10-6. The girls played a heck of a game and did not give up when Casa Grande made their run. Solid win.

The second game started off bad. The girls struggled but got their compsure back. Unfortunately, we staked them to a 9-0 lead. We held them to 2 more runs for the rest of the game but we could only muster 3 runs ourselves. If not for that first inning, I think we could have taken this team. We'll have another shot at them. Way to bounce back girls. Now let's get ready for next week.
