 Alert | Ok ok, time for all hockey fans in the copa to sound off. October pre-season isnt far off. Forget about this wimpy football, run a 6 second play then rest for 2 minutes before we do it again, sport. (example...."whistle" roughing the quarteback) please....he signed up to play...hit him!!!! Hockey example....one ref to another... "let them fight till the fall to the ice" Much more entertaining

Alert | | Avs should be tough this year. Hockey fights are a joke now, so thats a bad comparison. If there is a rare fight, they just dance until they give each other the "are we done" sign and fall to the ice. The instigator rule needs to go. I've seen enough Euros play to know that the whole "hockey players are the toughest athletes" thing is completely overstated. How tough can it be when Mike Johnson is still skating for the Habs? My money is on the Ducks to repeat, Giguere is a wall. Coyotes will be about the same, but at least they won't be a retirement home anymore. Kings got some nice young talent, and NYR will blow through the East. | | | |

Wooo hooo! I couldn't agree more aout football! I have been telling the hubby how boring it is for years! (he's a die hard Sea Hawkls fan) and why... because they stop too much!
We are both hockey fans ..me NY Rangers and him Phx. Coyotes. Cracks the people up when we go to the VS. games..me all decked out in my teams and him in his sitting next to each other arguing about plays...ahhhh good times! We are still fighting about who's team our daughter is going to grow up loving....knowing her crazy butt she'll spite me and choose the Devils or something!haha | |

Alert | I love hockey as well. My wife just said the other day, I miss hockey..
I am a goalie on a few Ice teams. I got to practice with the Coyotes, Blackhawks, and RED WINGS!
It was amazing taking shots from all those guys. This was back in 2000-2001 Season.. I got to practice with the Stanley Cup Champions! I got pictures to prove it! | | | |

I was born in Worcester. Always been a Bruins fan but have to support the Yotes. I named my son after Jeremy Roenick 10 years ago.
Can't wait for this year. So much young talent in the league...

Alert | Ah, hehheh, well I guess I know how Yankees fans feel then. I mean, if you ask which baseball team has been the best over the past 15 years or so, the Yankees have to be at the top of that list, and everyone HATES them (includuing myself), but I also have to admit they have been one of the best if not the best team over that timeframe.
The same can be said for the Wings. I love going to games down here to see how many Wings fans are sitting in the stands, its pretty cool. Feel bad for the Yotes, hope they can sometime develop their own following that is substatntial as well

We have season tickets and I generally get great pricing on extra tickets, let me know if this is something we want to get going as I can probably get an even better deal through my ticket rep.
