Although Utah is my team of choice, I do enjoy watching the Suns as well. What do you all think of the Grant Hill addition? I dont see much change really. The Suns are still vulnerable to injuries. Only going seven deep all year, they better hope the injury plagued Hill can stay in the lineup. Anything new on KG? I think they should trade Amare for him. Amare might be the franchise, but so is KG in Minnesota. Once Nash retires and Marion gets lost to trade or FA, Amare will be stuck just like KG. Might as well win the title now and suffer later rather than win nothing now, and still suffer later.

I don't think that he'll stay healthy for the whole season. A lot of wasted money if you ask me.

They did not spend hardly anything to get Grany Hill and he doesn't need to start or play lots of minutes. I think eventually he will be a 6th man coming off the bench and he is okay with that.

They would be stupid to trade Amare for KG- there is no added bonus there- they are similar players and KG is older. They would be better off trading both Marion and Diaw for KG. Marion will not be the same player on any other team- he benefits largely because of Nash- Diaw had one great year and then got soft.

Imagine KG and Amare in the game at the same time with Nash and a couple guys that can hit the 3. That is what they need- another big 4 or 5 man that can run and bang down low.

I agree that they didnt spend anything on Hill, but he isnt the answer to put them over the top. Thats where KG comes in. If Phoenix wants a title, trade Amare and team Garnett with Nash. KG is tons better than Amare on Defense, especially against Duncan. I really dont see them doing anything with Amare as the franchise player once Nash retires. But than who knows, they could win next year with the same starters, if not for the suspensions we might be living in the state of Champions.

I really think the team can make a go of it as is. Often times it just takes a few years of a team playing together to make it. Look at San Antonio. They've lost out on the championship several times over the last few years, but they come back the next year and pull it off. I think the Suns can be the same. They didn't make it this year, so what? Keep the core team together, even better... add Grant Hill... and make another run at it. They can make it happen if they want it bad enough!

I don't buy into the thoery that KG means instant title. First of all , its almost a financial impossibility for him to come here. I love KG, but can he run the floor and play the Suns' style? He might relegvate the Suns to playinhg too much half court and they are not a half court team. Besides, although I love KG, I think he's past the point of learning a new system in time to get to a title.

Grant Hill.........for what he cost, he can't hurt.
