I can't believe how all of You have let this get off track.  This thread is about the incident and how it was handled.  For the record, those children and young adults did not have to sneak out becaue no parents were home.  The parents of 2 involved are never there for their kids.  The police are at the house in question at least once a  month.  Their neighbors have tried to help and have called the police several times.  This wasn't some kids strollig around bored.  They were out there with the intent to cause harm and possible death to one another.  The home in which Patterson was arested was not his family's home but one that seems to let almost anyone stay.  This family's son was one of the victims as well. 

I have had it at this point and instead of wasting time placing blame am going to be proactive.  I urge you all to begin forming Neighborhood Watch groups and meet all your fellow Maricopans.  Next, ask our local governmenet what they are going to do about the issues that are plaguing Maricopa.  Hold them accountable for what they did in communicating this event and lying about it for days.  Campaigning Councilmen:  How are you going to deal with the issues of our youth and intergrity of our police department?

In the end, WHAT IS REALLY IMPORTANT????
