NO- it usually the size of the photo that messes it up. If the photo is more than 600 pixels at the longest side there is a good chance it will crash the thread.
To keep it safe though 3-4 photos per post is probably the most. If you have more - just do a second post.

The problem is mistyped HTML. The forum doesn't care how big the images you link to are (your browser downloads them, not 85239), but if the HTML you typed isn't done correctly, that particular page of the thread will not be displayed. In fact, I resuscitated the old thread (by using the quick reply box to post junk until page 19 appears).
You can still open pages 1-17 of the V2 thread.
See large picture proof here
Sinbad, If you will go back to your posts on page 1 and 17 of the thread you started, and edit the post to add a notice that page 18 is broken, the old thread can continue. | | Joined: Jul 2005

Alert | Although it rained today, that didn't keep away the birds that congregate outside my window. As long as the feeder is full, they're out there. This is one of the yellow finch that hung out in the Mesquite tree.

Gambels Quail are very common in the Sonoran desert. They're somewhat skiddish because just about everything out here wants them for dinner. Here is a male that stopped by to pick up whatever the other birds let fall to the ground.

Finally, we don't see a lot of Gila Woodpeckers at the feeder. These guys would rather hang out in a tree and peck at it until they drove bugs out, which then became their meal. This guy couldn't resist a quick snack of birdseed.

LOL Sinbad! Everytime I see quail I think about when I lived in Kansas and hunted them every year. That little bit of meat you get for all the effort and expense made it a delicacy.

Alert | I just had a pool put in by Blue wave pools http://www.bluewavepoolsaz.com/ The owner is a Maricopa resident so keeping the money local.. We did a 400sq ft pebble sheen pool with a rock waterfall and the led lighting system. They did a great job and were very easy to work with. Anyway here are some pics..
I also have this in the home and garden section but apparently, linking doesn't work there | | A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have. -Thomas Jefferson
