Alert | MR LTP, nice shots of Europe. I had forgotten all about the other Statue of Liberty. I don't see how they allow cars on Canal Street. I guess no parking signs would be stating the obvious.
Nuke, Wow! The Navy must have been in a real gracious mood. When I was on the Coral Sea, you couldn't get close to the flight deck unless you were part of the flight crew and never with a camera. Of course, that was also underway in operational conditions too. Bet it was noisy, huh? You froze the chopper blade, so I can tell you were shooting a fast shutter. I haven't messed with RAW a lot yet. I shoot the biggest JPEG that I can. I should learn how to covert the RAW image and preserve the quality. | | Stupid should hurt!

Alert | DD, yes the Navy was so nice to us. You bet it was loud! The only thing that might come close to that noise is top fuel drag racing maybe. Those F18's in full afterburner were brutal. Unfortunately I didn't have any ear protection with me as we had no idea we would be that close to the action so I used a piece of napkin in my ears. The T45's were not so bad. I actually wish I would have slowed the shutter speed for the gunship to get some blur in the rotors but at the time I didn't think of it. I think I have a permanent smile on my face from this shoot
Aaron congrats on getting moved in. I subscribe to www.fencecheck.com and that how I got the invite for that shoot. The Navy is planning to put together another shoot at El Centro in Oct for us. I am always up for a shoot just give me a shout | | | |

Alert | | No, I don't. Do you have the transcription from it? I could do some research. From what I can see, it looks like it's in Spanish. | | Stupid should hurt!

Alert | No I don't have a transcript, It's just lists a bunch of names and has a date of 1926 on it. It is all spanish. I need to get a better shot of it to read everything on it or research it. I don't think its from 1926 cause thats fairly recent cement, date in the corner (out of sight on pic) said 1996.
