 Alert | | I like Costco, but that's because that's the only one I've ever had. I've been hearing good things about Sam's Club from my sister and I've been thinking about trying it, but I haven't yet. We have bought furniture from Sam's through my sister, but usually Costco has everything we need. Plus I have the Executive membership from Costco which gives you a rebate back. So if you shop there a lot the rebate may be large enough to cover the membership fee for the next year. Last years was over the amount so I had left over to use on items in the store. That's what I really like about Costco, they pay you back. | |

Love the Executive Membership..2% back Especially purchasing Diapers,Wipes,Formula. Costco hotdogs and food court is better. | | | |

Alert | | my mom and i used to have a sam's club membership. about 6 years ago we were sent a 1 day pass for costco and liked it much better and switched our membership to them. i don't recall exactly why we made that decision anymore though. we have really liked costco though, i go a lot. the 2% back on the exec membership is a nice bonus too, it pays for our membership every year. also, the location is good, living here in maricopa and for my mom in gilbert. i also LOVE costco home store over on eliot. | | | |

Thanks for all of the replies. Sounds like most people prefer Costco.
I think we'll try to get a day pass for Sam's so we can check it out. We mostly buy food and most feedback indicates that Sam's is a little better for that.
Are they both about the same distance from Maricopa?

Alert | Sam's Club on 54th St. between Chandler & Ray (exit I-10 at Chandler Blvd.)in Chandler is the closest by a couple of miles.
The Tempe Costco is at Elliot & Priest and as a bonus has a Costco Home Store next door.(exit I-10 at Elliot and go 1/2 mile east)
The Chandler Costco is about the same distance as the Tempe store. (I-10 to 202-loop east, exit at Chandler Village Drive)
