Ok, I was traveling last week and I had a craving for watermelon. Went to the store, bought one, brought it back to my kitchenette and when I cut it open it was not as I was hoping it would be. It was not juicy, it was kind of grainy and airy. Where the little white seeds used to be, there were empty holes. Does anyone know is there a way you can tell if a watermelon has passed its prime? |
