I just signed up for Itunes and downloaded some songs, but now I want to put them on my MP3 player....yet, I can't seem to figure it out.  Maybe I have an older player...my MP3 is about 3 years old, but for the life of me, I just can't figure this out.

Does anyone know how to do this or familiar with this?

oh yeah forget...we just got a HP computer with Windows Vista...not sure if that matters or not.

If it's an iPod, then you can just plug it in. If not, then you need to burn those songs to a disc and then rip them back in MP3 format and then use a program like Windows Media Player.

Oh yeh, the above instructions are crystal clear!  I would not know how to do that if my life depended on it.

It's not really a crystal clear process, as it is an undocumented work around. The most difficult parts, such as changing to MP3 format for ripping a disc are in iTunes help, and others are standard operations within iTunes and Windows Media Player. It's rather difficult to explain any clearer than the help for iTunes and Windows Media Player and the only thing that would probably make it clearer is hands-on demonstration.

Jason - I'm totally sure you know what you are talking about.  But when it comes to us technologly impaired misfits a hands on demonstration performed maybe a dozen times "might" start to get thru to our brains!
