I always wondered what kind of person would take the time to answer a poll with "no opinion".  That just doesn't make sense, because if you had no opinion then why would you answer the poll?

Anyways I noticed that Burnie Hibbard has yet to receive a vote.

Fair question.
I answered "No Opinion" because I don't know all of the facts yet. I have no opinion unless I am informed and am swayed one way or the other.
No Opinion is an opinion. If that is not an option then the other choices stand and people, like myself, are left out of the process.
If 10 people vote one way and 13 people vote the other way and 20 people give 'No Opinion' as their choice, it show that others care and have not made up their minds on the subject yet.
I will change my answer as more information becomes available to me.

Fair... (mallardisme) but then why not forgo the poll all together till you have the facts?

I think it serves to show that this topic doesn't necessarily move people enough to form an opinion. That's a valid answer, too, isn't it? The old I don't care?

Because I do care, but have not formed an informed opinion given the information that I have to date.

Yeah but voting "no opinion" locks you out of voting when you do have an opinion so based on what you say it would have been better to wait till you had an opinion and vote that opinion than hastily voting your no opinion and thereby invalidating your possible opinions.

So again, why vote?

I have yet to see much info that sways me at this time. I am leaning towards keeping it the way it is.

I am sure I will give a better opinion on the next one.
