I honestly have all kinds, 2 moving boxes full to be exact! lets just say I had a obsession with fabric once upon a time and got any peice I could get my hands on! I couldnt fit it all on a folding table, but I have all sorts of colors, and sizes.

So I am back in. I applied for my license today. Sara said I could pick it up on Thursday. So please put me back on the list for a nametag.
Now, where exactly will the event be? In the open barn just outside of the Marketplace? I haven't ever been inside Stage Stop, so I have no idea how much room they have.
Thanks!

HOLA!

1) I'd be interested in fleece.

2) Originally I was going to take part in the event, as I have a huge box of old jeans that can be used for anything from looming to making pillow covers to little jean purses, but unfortunately, now hubby has to work on Saturday. Can anyone use the denim? Otherwise I'll just take what's "good" over to Goodwill and pitch the rest.

3) I had signed up with The Nag to bring some baked goods for the bake sale. Does anyone know if this was all in connection with the craft swap, or is it for something else. It benefits Legacy Traditional School, as far as I know. I still can make the baked goods, just need to know where to take them!

4) Does anyone have a sewing machine that they would like to get rid of for a fair price?

Thanks!!!!

I replied to every email I got..

I will email my info to the address provided..

I have a lot of fleece..

I may have a serger to sell.. I need to get it looked at.. I think the tension may need a minor adjustment. I'm planning on my husband taking it to a sewing repair place for a quick peek on Friday.

TMarie,

If all else fails I just bought a Kenmore Machine off of ebay for 44 bucks (that includes shipping) seemed to have missed a screw that was just cosmetic, has 43 stitch functions and really nice and works well so it might be a option for you (i beleive I found the same model for 90 bucks brand new), I was looking at craigslist for weeks, even my husband was and I finally gave up and just started looking and keeping my eye out on ebay.

Brian - what if we are only offering services instead of products? I don't have anything to sell but was thinking of offering sewing/quilting abilities to anyone in need of them.

Yes!

Hi All -
Spoke to The Nag who has been following this thread but has been unable to post as she's not at home & unable to log on to the forum.
"Sorry this has turned into something ugly. It was just meant to be a fun afternoon." It was meant to be a craft swap & not an actual craft sale. It was not meant to compete with any other similar event or to cause any issues with either the crafters or other vendors.

As soon as Nag is able to log on to this thread, she'll post herself.

I believe the event is still scheduled to go on as planned.

For all you crafters out there who do any type of pet crafting, you could pay the $25 for your license & then also get a booth at the Maricopa Mutt March this November and sell your pet related items there! Dog beds, leashes, collars, dog/cat clothes, customer dog/cat bowls.....think of the possibilities! Your $25 would be stretching farther than just one event!

If you are not actually selling anything you do not need a license.

I know the Nag didn't intend for this to happen. How could any of us have known? This is going to be a fun event. I am really looking forward to it.

Are your services free? If not, and you are making money then it is a business and requires a city business license.

I think it's better to have all the correct info then none at all. I can only tell you that it took someone telling me what I needed a couple years ago for an event right on here. Had they not. I may have gotten into a world of trouble.

I only wish this had occured to me sooner so it would not have been so last minute.
They obviously (the city) read the thread so ya never know what could have happened. Better safe than sorry.

I am really excited to see what everyone has too. I need to get a hobby, so something there just might trigger of some talent in me.

Let me know if I could help out in anyway.

I wont be attending, I was mainly going to trade and not actually sell, but it seems alot just want to sell so it seems sorta pointless I will proboly stop by just in case there is anything I would like to purchase.
