Alert | Thanks for that clarification, Brian.
Does everyone selling have to get a separate license? Or do we all just have to chip in for one for the event? | | I loathe people who keep dogs. They are cowards who haven’t got the guts to bite people themselves. ~Sir Geoffrey Streatfield

Alert | | Each Vendor would need their seperate license. It's not different then the Vendors at the Salsa Festival or any other special event where Vendors are selling.

Alert | Tempting Fait1,
Please delete Judy, Lorri, and Barb from the name tag list. Between the 3 of us we may have $5. of items. I will come by to support the rest of you though.
Please let Nag know as well. | | Need a tax write off? Donate to the Maricopa SALVATION ARMY EMERGENCY SERVICES FUND.

Alert | ErinC, you would not need a seperate state tax and the license would be good for the rest of 2007.

Alert | | Sorry for all of the questions, but would I be able to sell my hairbows and such as well as the scrapbooking items I am getting rid of? Does this make sense?

Yes, it has put a damper on the 'party'. I appears that we are losing people because of it.

Alert | wow well I am definately not selling stuff anymore, but we dont need a license to trade right? Guess for anything I dont trade off I will have a yardsale for.
However to know if its even worth my time and effort, anyone else actually trading or was everyone hoping to sell? Maybe we should all get together sometime and do a yardsale together at someones home. Unfortunately I only have my front room to offer if we were to do it at someones house and I dont think its big enough for all the people who would attend. So anyone else trading items or would it be a waste of my time? I have decorative pillows, some baby blankets I made, and a ton of fabric available for trade (wich in all seriousness I would just want either different types of fabric, patterns or home decor items) If I dont hear from anyone then I proboly wont "vendor" there either then. too bad we couldnt make some sort of yahoo group for maricopa crafters to sell and trade off of. | | Jody

Alert | I planned on selling my stuff. I didn't want to trade because I just want to get rid of the supplies I have. My home is not big enough to have eveyone come either. I am planning on getting a license just so I can still be involved.

Alert | TemptingFait--I let TheNag know I couldn't be there due to an urgent family medical situation. Sorry! I really wanted to participate--and I already have my license too!

Alert | | I was just reading on the City of Maricopa website that license takes 10-15 days to be issued. So it looks like I won't be able to participate in this event. Maybe next time.

Alert | Seriously.. We need a big house.. mine is only 1500 sq feet.. so too small.. and it's too hot to do it outside..
O well.. since it takes so long to get a license.. I guess the craft sale is over. | | Tens of THOUSANDS of pure-bred dogs are killed in shelters in the Us EVERY YEAR!
