MPD has a pretty good idea of who these kids are. When I got a good tip on the kids who vandalized my house and called the MPD, they already knew all about this group and they know what they drive and all of their names. Its time something is done about this group and it better be soon.

Thats funny cus we heard the SAME thing over here in Homestead.."We know who it is but we aint gonna do anything"..thanks for nothing!!!

When I leave my car parked outside because I thought I was going to go somewhere and then forget to park it in the garage, I hope to God it's not vandalized to stolen but if it is, i only have myself to blame.

Only yourself to blame?  It it that kind of thinking that tolerates this behavior, that allows them to get a way with it.

Never blame yourself for someone else's criminal behavior.

You hit the nail on the head here.  No one shoudl feel they are to blame for someone else being a crimal. I mean look at Canada most people there never lock there doors and in the US you would never dream of that in the Suburban Setting. It is also amazing that MPD knows who it is. Well.... what are they going to do to stop them?

Most people in Canada NEVER lock their doors?  LOL Pardon me while I  laugh, you watch too much Michael Moore. EVERYONE locks their doors, walk up to 50 random doors, 50 will be locked. Do be naive. I'm sorry their car was vandalized but this is the world we live in (one random act) and if they had they parked in a garage it would NOT HAVE HAPPENED (that is what a gargage is for.) You know it, I know and they know it.

This isn't downtown New York pal this is the 'burbs!

It would have been the next car down then and the crime would have happened to someone else.   Maybe the would have tagged a house or something else.  The point is that these punks are the ones who are the problem.  Get real.

I used to live in California and seldom locked my doors or my garage and never had a problem.  I am far from naive.

Seriously.. you think the MPD is capable of patrolling the ENTIRE Maricopa area every five minutes? This vandalism probably took less than 2 minutes to do.. you seriously think a patrol car every 2 minutes is feasible in ANY city?

I don't think that is feasible at all but the MPD could be out busting real criminals instead of bragging about the number of traffic tickets they issue each week. I guess the tickets give them a metric to justify their jobs though.

Thank you. The point is if the person doesn't want to or can't use the garage they should not have to live in fear. The Michael Moore has nothing to do with it. I have been there many times and none of the people I know up there lock there doors. I don't recall ever even locking my car which was always in the driveway every night when I lived in the burbs of one of the largest cities in this country, until I moved to this state. Your right it is not New York but drive down town PHX and look at all the tags on buildings, signs, ect… on very major and active street corners. You want it to look like that pissedparent? I sure don't. I refuse to live in fear in my own home and neighborhood plain and simple.  One random act? I recall seeing multiple tags around town. There is another post on here talking about a Wall of a community being tagged and everything else. So simply I don’t think we should have to park in our garage every night to make sure your car is not damaged. Why don’t we all live in forts then with moats?? LOL

So I have an update to my situation which relates to this car also.  MPD has at least one officer doing something about these kids.  I received a call last night and he told me that they have the names and will be pickin up these kids one by one.  Maybe, just maybe this will solve most of our problems.

Something I've noticed you guys are all missing relates to the parents.  Where are they?  Most of these kids ARE minors so the bill is going to get stuck to the parents for all damages done.  If these were my kids, they would all catch a beating.  My parents kicked my butt when I was little and I turned out sorta ok.

I agree I would not have sat for a week if I pulled a stunt like this. I also would have been working a long time to pay them back no matter what age I was. Personal thought here since I am sure people will complain.... I think parents hands have been tied by no one but themselves here. If you paddle a bottom of your child in today’s society it is abuse and you are sitting in a 6'x6' before you know it. I know it goes back to the same old saying of "a few bad apples ruin it for the rest" but to a degree some (and I stress some) parents have let their child becomes the parent/boss... So when you hand power/reasonability over to a child..... well we all know where that leads..... They are a CHILD not a parent/adult. So good solid parents end up suffering due to those who let there children be a “adult” when they are still a child. When did the day come that 8-9 year old children need cell phones? Do parents not keep track of where their children are and what they are doing? They think an electronic leash is the answer? Simple know where your child is and who they are with and keep track of them. I see 12-14 your old child with Black Berries all the time…. What child needs a PDA at 12-14 yrs old? Anyhow back to topic they need to be rounded up and punished but they are minors so a slap on the wrist and off to mom and dad.  Who will let them be out roaming again at 2am the next night….. Sad

Time for an update so we dont forget about these little brats...

So I saw one of the kids SPEEDING down my street tonight and ran to my truck to follow. He took off like a bat outa hell once he saw my truck, absolutely flying thru cobblestone in his stupid PT Cruiser with a bad flame job and metal mulisha stickers. Yea, Im callin him out so everyone knows the vehicle. I followed him to his girlfriends house, he got out and brought her dad with him. Wussy. They talked alot of BS and did NOTHING but stutter and back track when confronted with plenty of facts. Maricopa PD, DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE KIDS! I want the damage to my house paid for. NOW. This kid was guilty as hell, he knew it, I knew IT, now his girlfriends dad knows it and now he knows that I know where he hangs out, where he lives, where he works, what he drives, who his friends are...

Why else would ANYONE randomly run from a car that slowly pulls up behind them at a light? Recognize a vehicle from a house you vandalized randomly? HMMMMMMM? Shall we start contacting more law enforcement agencies about your swasticas on cars or the cow skull you left on my car with a swastica and the words F*** CRACKERS on it?? Doesnt that classify as a hate crime? MPD can we do SOMETHING, ANYTHING? At least give them speeding tickets...

Im the one speeding on the 347, move over or get run over!

Wow, this is a shame. That is one of the worst feelings walking out of your home and seeing something like this........and NOT being able to catch these punks!........Thank goodness it came off. Just curious which development you reside in?

My car was broke in to about 6-months ago. I was ripped for not having the car in the garage...LOL.......We have a large family with 4-cars using a 2-car garage......Do the math. God for bid if families need to use storage.......I had no idea my car was broken in to until the MPD came to alert us that night. They ARE patrolling.......it's impossible to catch everything out there.

For the sake of these kids, I sure hope that they stay away from my neighborhood. We already have some freak who jumps into backyards and tries to look into people's windows. So needless to say my whole street is a little jumpy, and if some punk kid were to try anything I guarantee they would be hurting. The whole street would be out there jumping these kids. We are a pretty close knit neighborhood, so I know that everyone would get involved.

regancolston1214 ... in a way I hope these punks hit your neighborhood ... so you guys can finally take 'em down and drag 'em by their ears to the MPD. ZERO tolerance .... they are of no use to society so let 'em be part of the food chain in jail.

At this very minute I have three neighborhood strays in my home. Kids, not animals. All from different homes. One of them is 4YO, cannot swim, and yet his parent figure sent him over here with a bathing suit. They don't even know me.

These kids have been thrown away. They are raised by chance and strangers. They are the uncared for result of irresponsible breeding. At this point, I think it's time to put birth control in the water system.

these punks should be caught and lined up along the rancho el dorado or cobble stone farms signage along the 347...somewhere nice and visible....and be shot or hung from the palm trees in that area....and post a nice public warning on a large banner along the 347 that states "I was caught tagging/vandalizing"........that would deter me if i had any intentions of any wrong-doing....problem is our society is full of PC jerkwads and overall people with a lack of any testicular fortitude....

Sounds like its time for some justice. While two wrongs don’t make a right, it sure lets me sleep better at night. It doesn’t seem they get punished or caught for their wrongdoings and thus have no fear to continue to do so. Who is to say someone who is smart about the situation and rectifies the problem would.... Its our nature to use the sytem in place, but if that fails improve or make a new system that does not.

Let the bashing of my opinion begin. Because you know by doing that you are no better than the people who are committing the crimes. But you know what? My guess is more people would secretly be thankful that the outright vandalism in their neighborhood disappears.
