We will be going there for the first time in July and wondered since we only have about 24 hours there...where would you stay and must sees?? We will have 3 teenage boys to entertain also. I have been looking on Tripadvisor and some great ideas but still hesitant to book a hotel. Thanks for any suggestions.

Take one of the jeep tours for sure.  The boys will like it since they go off roading.

I wish I could remember the name of the restaurant that has such a beautiful view for sunset dining on their patio. Anyone know which one I'm talking about? I have not been to Sedona in ages.

I agree on the jeep tour. Pink Jeep is still the best imo.

I agree the jeep tour is a good choice though I have never done it.

f your boys are into history check out Montezumas Castle in Camp Verde- you will drive right past it.

Take the drive up to Jerome for some more history and a good burger at one of the bars.

If they are athletic and good for a short but steep hike I suggest Devils Bridge for a good photo op.

The boys will probably like slide rock because it can be quite busy during the summer and there is chance of seeing girls.

For a little more of an adventure there is West Clear Creek where the trail disappears into the water and you have to wade or swim through several stretches of the canyon.

I really just liked the shoes... and the coy message of the photo itself.   They are not my shoes or feet...

We always stay at the Sky Ranch Lodge on top of airport mesa.  There are hiking trails and a small cute restaurant at the little airport up there.  The hotel is beautiful and simple, and has a really nice pool.  There are gorgeous views up there of the sunsets.  On the way up, instead of Montezuma's castle, try Montezuma's Well...  it's free, and it's actually one of the coolest ruins we have been to!  You get to go down into this well, and there are homes built into the walls.  Not many people go there and you get to be right in the ruins, instead of seeing them from far away.  The well itself is it's own ecosystem.  Have fun, relax, and tell the kids to be quiet so you can take a nap!
