I went to Fry's this morning, and went down Van Loo, and there is home on the west side of Van Loo that lost a HUGE mesquite tree AND a smaller tree.. They lost both trees in the front yard.. Sad..

I can tell from the way the roots are showing, that were watering there trees wrong.

Make sure you water your trees DEEP, not every day.. water once a week for a long time... the water goes down, so the roots are forced to chase the water in the ground.. helps build strong roots..

I don't know what tree we have but after the storm it is totally leaning toward the street. I've tried to put a solid post but that is leaning too. The original landscapers but a thin bamboo to help it stand up, like that helped. I have no idea what to do and usually I do things on my own since my husband works.

I'm free from all prejudice, I hate everyone equally!
