 Alert | We are now in crunch time to get 20 more golfers or 2 more $1000.00 paid sponsors (not including H&N) for us to break even on the golf tournament. We need this done prior to May 1st. We will hold the tournament at break even point and push to get more golfers and sponsors to raise funds for Reiley's care up until the time of the tourney. We've gotten a couple more donations for raffle giveaways, and the Hooters Girl should be there and again, it's going to be a lot of fun. This is a really sweet deal for a round of golf, lunch and a good raffle! | |

Alert | | Calling all Golfers, I know you must be out there... I see people playing on The Duke course all the time!!! The Raven is rated one of the best courses to play by Golf Digest!!! It's not far, and it's going to be great fun, great start time so it won't be too hot when you finish!!! Raffles, lunch, golf at a discounted price, and to help someone in the community... how much is it to enter the event? Thanks for the question. The tournament is $100.00 per person, which includes the round of golf, lunch and a raffle ticket to win a 42" flat panel TV. Golf cart is also included for every two players. The Raven normally charges $180.00 to play a round. I will PM you as well the info, thanks!!! | | | |

Alert | | You should see if there is a way to get the word out about this in Province. I bet there are many in Province they don't have regular access to 85239.com, or at least the forum. (It shows since they don't have a section inside the forums under community). I am sure many of the retired folks there play golf and would love to help out. | |

Alert | Hi everyone!!! Since we are at "Break Even STATUS" the golf tournament is ON!!! No refunds will be offered as this is a benefit golf tournament and we will be out of pocket the money ourselves if we had to refund. So we thank all our participants and sponsors and just wanted to make sure that was clear. Also, since we are at break even, we obviously are still looking for golfers and sponsors, we have 12 sponsorship spots open and can take another 100 golfers. We have a more open time line now for payment, last date to pay and play is June 7th. Last date to sponsor a hole is June 1st as we have to have the company logo and name off to the sign maker in time to make the banners and tee-signs. We are still openly looking for things to raffle too. Besides the TV that is a free raffle, we will have tickets to purchase at $1.00 each. We have right handed putter and a left handed driver donated by Hooters. We have 3 $20.00 gift cards from Hooters, we have a $500.00 worth of free Trim work from Maricopa Trim, The High Life Limousine Service a Two Hour Gift Certificate for a limousine ride for up to 10 people a $180.00 value, $100.00 Gift Certificate to John Henry's Restaurant in Tempe, and two $10.00 gift cards for Fry's Marketplace. We would like to have closest to the pin, longest drive, and longest putt, but we need prizes donated in order for those competitions to take place. Also we are looking for 6 volunteers to help out at the golf tournament. Please email me at eanizer@gmail.com if you want to help out with anything at all!! We have 9 paid sponsors and 34 paid golfers!!! So we have $2400 towards Reiley's medical care from the tourney or about $1400 if we need to buy the TV... so, yep still looking for golfers and sponsors, etc.

Alert | With the golf tourney just 3 weeks away I just wanted to give another update. Yesterday the TV was picked up for the free raffle. Brand name, not 100% sure, but believe it's a Panasonic, it is a 42" Flat Panel Plasma TV valued at $1800.00!!!!
Next we have 12 sponsors and 53 golfers, so we are at half capacity. We hope with the talk on KTAR on May 28th, we will get more golfers and/or sponsors. A friend is working feverishly to get a car for a hole in one contest, Thank you Tony Tellez for stepping up to help us out with that!!!
We are still in need of items to raffle, volunteers, golfers and 6 remaining sponsors. This is going to be a huge event!!! Please come join the fun, even if you are a horrible golfer, it's okay, it's all about getting Reiley the medical funds she needs. If you haven't read her medical page lately, we are leaving for Columbus Ohio July 21 -25, and then we fly off to Boston Ma July 25 - August 1st. The VA feeding clinic dates are still not known. We are pending results of some blood drawn this Monday for the metabolic and mitochondrial look again, and we are pending urine labs until June 2nd. Hopefully we will get some answers, but we still need help doing so. The mention of Reiley winning the baby idol contest in the 85239 magazine is NOT covering the cost to get her medical care... it's a small step to a huge piece.
