Alert | | Sounds like it should be raised to a more reasonable 35. RED is also 25 and it is maddeningly slow and unreasonable. Playing in a collector street should be illegal. You can't cross anywhere you want to, so why should anyone be able to constantly occupy a section of frequently traveled road? | | Joined: Jul 2005

Alert | | We're talking about the streets that people live on. We don't have the same type of roads that the bigger communities have. The "collector" street that your talking about is the street where the park is and is only probably less then 1/2 mile long. And a corner to turn about every 100 yards. | | Senior Member Posts: 4625 Joined: Feb 2006

Alert | | Oh well then absolutely, 25 is appropriate. I can't imagine anyone in their right mind passing on a street where kids play and cars are parked on regularly. | | Joined: Jul 2005

Alert | | Not that speeding is ok, but cars should not be parked on the street and kids should not be playing in the street. They have the park and their respective back yards. Parents should not let their children play in the street whether it is "legal" or not; its not smart.
