I am the first to admit my spelling is not good. I think everyone understood what I was meaning. Thanks for pointing it out I hope it made you feel good.

I'm sorry, honey. I mean you no harm. My only intent is to educate. I can see that you are a good person, and hope we can remain friendly.</div>

We will see "honey".

There are two homes on my street that since I have lived here over 1yr have never taken care of their front yard weeds. So you can imagine what it looks like. I called DC hoa they said they have no money to have someone take care of this issue. For me to call the city and ask them for money. The city said they were probably investment homes and they would check into them and send a notice. Does this make sense?? Why are they not charging these people and then take that money to have someone clean the front yard.</div>

RobertB.....that is a great idea. In fact we would love to use the fine money to pay for cleanup.

However, if they do not pay the fines....then how does the HOA use that money to pay for clean-up???

It is a catch 22 dude, and unfortunately in the end no one wins until the home is sold and the monies can be recouped, problem with that is it could take years for a sale, or the home goes into foreclosure and the HOA gets nothing, as the bank is first in line for repayment.
