I know money is tight, but, any word on the weed control in the common areas? Also, you guys did GREAT on the "Ceders" sign.

I'm keeping an eye on it.  It looks like they are doing sections at a time.  If it isn't all done in a week or so I'll be all over it.

I noticed today that they sprayed for the weeds.  To save money we have them coming twice a month.

But either way your right and I've sent a message to have it addressed.

Sure is nice going down Bowlin-nice and green! I've only got a little bit of Round-Up, but it's a start.... Any sign of relief?

We're working on it.  Both Bowlin and Greythorn need TLC.  But the bright side is they got the rest of the community cleaned up real nicely.

This is none of my business because I don't live in Desert Cedars and don't yell at me because I'm not trying to be mean, but I did drive through your community today and was a little surprised at the condition of the common areas. As I was driving through I didn't notice too many unoccupied houses with weeds everywhere (which is a big problem by my house). Are homeowners just not paying their HOA dues or are there more unoccupied houses than meets the eye? The houses in DC are very nice and most people's front yards looked really nice too. Again, I hope no one in DC takes my post the wrong way, I was just curious as to why.

Obviously, like every other community, there is "money shortage". While not as quickly as we like, the problem is being taken care of. No offense taken, but we appreciate you visiting our community.

Thank you very much for your response Heylolo.  Well put.

The answer to both of his question is yes there are more vacant homes than meets the eyes and as in other communities there are issues with getting people to pay their dues.

We are currently working with the city and our landscapers to get things taken care.

They got Bowlin looking real nice!!!!!!
