For 1/2 a mil a year shouldn't the above be included in that overall fee? I mean mow the grass..ride in a golf cart and stick the blower out the side of the car...let the plants die..waste water..give the homeowners the contract...we could probably do the same at 1/100th of the cost! | |

Alert | | i am all for a meeting in the park as well...ive got 14 fold up chairs i could bring and lend out....i want to see some receipts as well...as far as im concerned if there isnt already one on the books...they need a law that makes HOA's disclose receipts for purchases made with our dues | |

Alert | I just received an e-mail back from Cindy. She has agreed to a weekend mtg at the park. I have asked for this Saturday at 10:30 - it works best for me. . . Sandy, not certain which poster you are, or if you are here, but she will be contacting you to 'combine' mtgs.
She said to make it a 'town mtg' she would be required to send out flyers - so BASICALLY - it is word of mouth and she will discuss with anyone who is there. I expect I will hear a confirmation on the date and time soon.

I asked for an informal mtg. I wanted to make certain it was this yr and not in 2008. I suggested we didn't need flyers. This is an unofficial mtg - in order to make it official notice would have to be sent via mail to all homeowners.
I figure we can all go, be there, talk, and if necessary request a formal mtg.

Alert | I finally got my notice today...you all got yours last week. I love the mail service in this town!
Many of us moved here, rather than another community because there were so few ammenities. The HOA fees should be lower...not higher. 
I will be there.
Oh, I couldn't just change my assessment online...I had to delete the old one and start over...just in case anyone else had that problem. | |
