What method do we use to make complaints to the HOA? Plus, someone in my close proximity has a barking dog that barks every 21 seconds. Sounds like a big dog. If I can hear it, then the owners can definitely hear it. Who do we call for that sort of thing?

I'm not a complainer but man, people have to respect that they are not the only people living there.

If you can find where the dog is look and see if it has food and water, if not call AC&C at 520-866-7600 and report them. Usually when a dog is barking like that they want something; in, water, food, someone to play with......

The AC&C officer out here makes the owner stand out in the hot sun while writing the ticket and reading them all the laws, when the owner says "can we do this inside in the a/c" the officer then tells them that the dog didn't have a choice so he's not giving the owner the choice.

Barking dog complaints are handled by the city, cruelty is handled by AC&C.

The red head is BACK!! (and still mouthy)

Well, i'm not sure if the dog is being abused and it was at night. i just want it to shut up. I'm sure it wanted to get in but was just being ignored. I love dogs, i love people but i don't like it when they're disrespectul and irresponsible dog owners.

Where are you? I'm in Barcelona...and had something making noise last night as I was dozing off. I don't think it was coyotes...mine were all tucked in bed with me and didn't react to it.

That's what i'm talking about. What do we do to report that? if I'm paying 70 bucks a month, i think the information should be readily available.

Oh, and Hummer guy has a basketball hoop now. LOL. i drove by and saw it on my way to work. and now the PT Cruiser is in the rocks too!

Does the HOA occasionally cruise around looking for violations or does someone have to bring something to their attention?

sorry so many questions...just new to the whole HOA thing.

If you are located where I think you are located then there are a couple people close by you that have dogs. I did not hear anything last night, but I sleep pretty deeply. I do once in awhile hear dogs up by the cul-de sac area. Now those dogs sound BIG!

Where do you live that you hear a dog? Our neighbor next to us and one house behind us, both have dogs and both of them just never shut up. 7pm, 10pm, 2am, they don't care, they bark and i think the exact same thing, if we can hear them, the owners should hear them too. Once in a blue moon in the last couple of months, we've had a quiet night, but i never knew who to call to get someone to investigate. I love animals, but yeah, i also want some peace when i go to sleep.

So it's up to US to enforce the HOA rules? Good to know. Time to break out the pinwheels for my front yard...

Well, I emailed the HOA people, I want to say Chris, but not sure now, it was the one who was to be RSVPed for the party a couple of weeks ago. Anyways, I emailed her a good 3 weeks ago, asking when the tower would be finished, why the fountain isn't on more often, what to do about cars constantly parked on the streets and wow...i heard nothing. almost as bad as the previous company.

only reason i emailed her, by the time we get home from work, they are already closed and we leave so early in the morning.

so maybe if we all didn't pay our $70 a month, then they would listen to us...just a thought.

our dogs we hear, our neighbor on Picasso St (barcelona) and then the house behind us over at Homelife...I am thinking its Velazquez street. i mean no harm to animals, but honestly, i wouldn't cry if those dogs just went away. i can't believe i get excited over a night when the dogs are actually quiet.

if you're going to be a dog owner, but a good one. just because you have a backyard, doesn't mean you're entitled to own a dog.

Look Karen lucky for you I came in to save the day!!! It is NOT the responsibility of the HOA to control an animal that would be the city and depending on issue animal control.

Second.............NOT my problem no one will listen about the "sniper Tower" issue. I have said the problems have any of you bothered to call Global or ED3? I am guessing NOT!

Shall we go through this again? This is 100% the developers fault. The city only denied permits because they were not up to code. It's been over a year since they tried building the thing without a permit. If they've known they were going to build it, why didn't they get Global Water and ED 3 out here sooner? I'm sure they'll continue passing the buck until all of Maricopa is built and we're still stuck with this pathetic excuse for a community. At this point I don't see how they're going to get builders out here for phase 2. Who one earth would build here after passing Rancho Mirage. When I purchased my Tortosa home in May of 2005 (yes 2005) I would have never dreamed they would screw us the way they have. Thank God I love my home and where it's located in the community. Once inside my front door, I like to pretend much of the rest doesn't exist.

Sorry to take over the HOA thread, but I'm tired of all the BS. Don't talk to us like we have no idea what we're talking about!
Moving on now, my blood pressure just hit the roof!!!!!!!!

Mom 2 BNM,
Thank you very much for saying what I wanted to say! I thought that the Happy One was extremely rude. Why even answer( Happy One) if you are going to talk to someone that way. Are you a representitive of the HOA because then it was extremely unprofessional also.
