Alert | That actually drives the speed limit according to the posted signs along Honeycut?? It doesn't matter whether I'm going up or down Honey....or what time of day....
Every day... cars..suv's..pick-ups cross over the double lines to pass me...
Don't misunderstand me..if you are in a hurry and are willing to take the chance..go for it..but don't give me "that dirty look" ..as you pass me..frankly my response is....I AM obeying the law! | | ANYONE HOME? Alert | | I particularly loved the guy that passed me on the bridge then slowed down to turn right into Rancho Mirage, saved himself 2.5 seconds, sure hope that made the difference. | | The red head is BACK!! (and still mouthy)

Don't you think you are taking this a bit personal? Sweet payback? Why are you so evil? If you really get that upset about a few people speeding how do you make it through the day?

Alert | I can't speak for Garden Glow, but I take it personal because it's dangerous to pass on a double yellow line!!! They are there for a reason, usually because visablity is poor and you can't see what's coming at you. Pass on the bridge as another speeder is coming towards you and BAM, if not a death or 2, then injuries, or at the least time spent waiting for tow trucks, cops and such. Is it really worth the few seconds you save to chance it??? If it is worth it I hope to God the car you wipe out doesn't have kids in it, you'd have to live with that for the rest of your life! | | The red head is BACK!! (and still mouthy)

Alert | Looking forward to more MPD patrols on Honeycutt handing out speeding tickets as SWEET payback is far from being "evil".....and yes I DO take it personally when someone breaking the law puts my life..my families life and fellow Maricopians lives at risk...since the school opened up there are many vehicles carrying children back and forth not to mention the School Buses...imagine the consequences if a reckless speeding driver causes an accident now that would be "EVIL"...
Yeah..color me upset.... but I do manage to get through the day just fine... | | ANYONE HOME? Residential Yard Clean-ups and Maintenance for more info go to the Business Section under Landscaping-Maintenance Click Here for our website.

Alert | | It is one thing when someone passes on the double yellow but something else when someone passes in a lane that allows it. Your life is hardly at risk when someone passes in a passing zone at a higher rate of speed than you. Passing on the bridge and in the double yellow is very unsafe but revenge for those that pass in a passing lane is just pathetic. One other thing, is a childs life worth more than someone elses? Just food for thought.

Alert | | caveman, you're an idiot. not one post here says anything about passing where there is a passing lane. Only at DOUBLE YELLOW LINES and at the BRIDGE. Stop arguing something that wasnt said. You're probably one of the many speeders?? Well you go Turbo! You will get yours eventually. As for your other food for thought, yes, a childs life is more important.

Alert | ROFL utah, I couldn't have said it better myself!! I never said a child's life was worth more then anyone elses, but I know how I felt when I came close to running over a little boy on a bike that darted out in front of my Suburban--I missed him and was upset for days. Yeah, I'd feel worse if I hit a kid then an adult, I think it's human nature! | | The red head is BACK!! (and still mouthy)
